1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your AUTOKAY Carburetor and Kit. This kit is designed for 875Exi 190cc engines found in 2700-3000PSI power washers, specifically those with 7.75Hp or 8.75Hp engines. It includes a carburetor, air filter, spark plug, gaskets, O-ring, and various pressure washer nozzles.

3. Setup and Installation

3.2. Carburetor Installation

  1. Remove Old Carburetor: Carefully disconnect the fuel line, throttle linkage, and choke linkage from the old carburetor. Remove the mounting bolts and the old carburetor along with its gaskets.
  2. Clean Mounting Surface: Thoroughly clean the engine's mounting surface to ensure a proper seal with the new gaskets.
  3. Install New Gaskets: Place the new gaskets in the correct orientation on the engine and then on the new carburetor.
  4. Mount New Carburetor: Position the new AUTOKAY carburetor (Part Number 593599) onto the engine, aligning it with the mounting holes. Secure it with the mounting bolts, tightening them evenly.
  5. Reconnect Linkages and Fuel Line: Reattach the throttle and choke linkages. Connect the fuel line, ensuring it is securely fastened and free of leaks.
  6. Install Air Filter: Insert the new air filter (Part Number 797301) into its housing.
  7. Replace Spark Plug: Remove the old spark plug and install the new spark plug provided in the kit. Ensure it is tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Engine Start-Up (After Carburetor Replacement)

  1. Check Fuel Level: Ensure the fuel tank has fresh, clean fuel.
  2. Reconnect Spark Plug Wire: Reconnect the spark plug wire securely.
  3. Prime Carburetor (if applicable): If your engine has a primer bulb, press it several times until fuel is visible.
  4. Set Choke: Move the choke lever to the "FULL CHOKE" position for cold starts.
  5. Start Engine: Pull the recoil starter cord firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
  6. Adjust Choke: As the engine warms up, gradually move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
