3. Setup
Charging the Radio
The R11 radio offers three primary methods for charging its internal 4000mAh battery:
- Type-C USB Charging: For daily use, connect the provided Type-C cord to the radio's Type-C charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). A full charge provides up to 32 hours of playback time.
- Hand Crank Charging: In emergency situations or when external power is unavailable, extend the hand crank located on the side of the radio. Rotate the crank clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace to generate power.
- Solar Panel Charging: Position the radio with its solar panel facing direct sunlight. This method is ideal for maintaining battery charge or providing a trickle charge in outdoor settings.
The radio can also act as a mobile power source to charge external devices via its USB output port.

- Antenna: Handle the telescopic antenna with care to prevent bending or breakage.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Radio does not power on. | Battery is depleted. | Charge the radio using Type-C USB, hand crank, or solar panel. |
| Poor radio reception. | Antenna not extended; weak signal area. | Fully extend the telescopic antenna. Try repositioning the radio or moving to an open area. |
| Bluetooth not connecting. | Radio not in Bluetooth mode; device too far; pairing issue. | Ensure radio is in 'BT' mode. Keep devices within 33ft. Restart both devices and try pairing again. |
| Flashlight not working. | Battery low; switch not fully engaged. | Charge the radio. Ensure the flashlight switch is fully slid to the ON position. |
| White noise sounds loop too quickly. | Intended design. | This is a characteristic of the white noise feature. Consider using Bluetooth to stream longer white noise tracks from an external device if preferred. |
