5. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to set up your pressure washer before first use.

  1. Attach the High-Pressure Hose: Connect one end of the 5-meter high-pressure hose to the high-pressure outlet on the main unit. Ensure it is securely tightened.
  2. Connect the Spray Gun: Attach the other end of the high-pressure hose to the spray gun. Twist until it clicks into place or is firmly secured.
  3. Install the Nozzle: Insert the desired nozzle into the spray gun. Refer to the nozzle guide for appropriate nozzle selection for your cleaning task.
  4. Connect Water Supply: Attach a garden hose (not included) to the water inlet connector on the pressure washer. Ensure the water supply is clean and free of debris. Turn on the water supply fully.
  5. Purge Air from System: Before connecting to power, squeeze the spray gun trigger to allow water to flow through the system and purge any trapped air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges from the nozzle.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (220~240V~50/60 Hz) equipped with a GFCI.

6. Operating Instructions

Once set up, follow these steps for safe and effective operation.

  1. Turn On: Switch the pressure washer to the "ON" position. The motor will start.
  2. Begin Cleaning: Aim the spray gun at the surface to be cleaned, keeping a safe distance. Squeeze the trigger to start the high-pressure water flow.
  3. Adjust Nozzle/Distance: Adjust the nozzle or your distance from the surface to achieve the desired cleaning intensity. Start with a wider spray pattern and move closer if more pressure is needed.
  4. Stop Operation: To stop the water flow, release the trigger. The motor may continue to run briefly. To turn off the unit completely, switch it to the "OFF" position.
  5. Relieve Pressure: After turning off the unit, squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system before disconnecting hoses.

6.1. Tips for Best Results

  • Always test the spray on an inconspicuous area first to avoid damaging the surface.
  • Work from top to bottom when cleaning vertical surfaces to allow gravity to assist in rinsing away dirt.
  • Maintain a consistent distance from the surface for even cleaning.

7. Maintenance and Storage

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.

  • After Each Use:
    • Disconnect power and water supply.
    • Drain all water from the pump, hose, and spray gun to prevent freezing damage in cold climates.
    • Clean the nozzle to prevent blockages.
    • Wipe down the unit with a damp cloth.
  • Filter Cleaning: Periodically check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
  • Storage: Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free environment. Coil the high-pressure hose neatly and store the spray gun and nozzles securely.
  • Winterization: If storing in freezing temperatures, use a pump protector or RV antifreeze to protect the pump from damage.
