4. Setup
Before operating the welder, ensure all connections are secure and correct.
4.1 Power Connection
- Verify the input voltage matches the welder's setting (110V or 220V). The machine automatically detects the voltage.
- Connect the power cord to a suitable grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the circuit can handle the required amperage.
4.2 Welding Cable Connections
- Ground Clamp: Connect the ground clamp cable to the negative (-) terminal on the front panel. Secure the ground clamp to the workpiece or welding table, ensuring good electrical contact.
- TIG Torch: For TIG welding, connect the TIG torch cable to the positive (+) terminal. Connect the gas hose from the torch to the gas outlet on the welder (if applicable, or directly to the gas regulator).
- Electrode Holder (MMA/ARC): For MMA/ARC welding, connect the electrode holder cable to the positive (+) terminal.

4.3 Gas Connection (for TIG)
- Connect the argon gas cylinder regulator to the gas inlet on the rear of the welder (or directly to the TIG torch if it has an integrated gas valve).
- Ensure all gas connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Set the gas flow rate according to your welding requirements (typically 10-15 CFH for TIG).
5. Operating Instructions
Once the setup is complete, you can begin operating the welder.
5.1 Powering On and Mode Selection
- Turn on the power switch located on the rear panel of the welder.
- The LED display will illuminate. Use the control knob and buttons to navigate and select your desired welding mode (TIG, Pulse TIG, CLEAN, or MMA).
5.2 Parameter Adjustment
Adjust welding parameters using the digital control panel. The large LED display provides clear feedback.
- Current (Amperage): Adjust the main welding current based on material thickness and type.
- Pulse Frequency (Hz): For Pulse TIG mode, adjust the pulse frequency to control the heat input and bead appearance.
- Pulse Duty Cycle (%): Controls the ratio of peak current time to background current time in Pulse TIG.
- Clean Function: Select this mode to clean the weld area or post-weld discoloration.
- Storage Function: The welder allows you to save and recall frequently used welding parameters. Refer to the display for saving and loading presets.

5.3 Welding Techniques
Refer to standard welding practices for specific techniques related to TIG, Pulse TIG, and MMA welding. Always practice on scrap material before welding critical components.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your welder.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the welder's exterior with a dry cloth. Use compressed air to blow out dust and debris from the ventilation openings. Ensure the machine is unplugged before cleaning.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect all welding cables, power cords, and gas hoses for cuts, cracks, or damage. Replace damaged components immediately.
- TIG Torch Maintenance: Inspect the TIG torch consumables (tungsten electrode, collet, collet body, nozzle) for wear. Replace as needed to maintain arc stability and weld quality.
- Ground Clamp: Ensure the ground clamp is clean and makes good contact with the workpiece.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Welder does not power on | No power from outlet; Power switch off; Internal fuse blown | Check power outlet and circuit breaker; Turn on power switch; Contact qualified service personnel. |
