Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to safely operate your ProCom MN180TPA-B heater.
Ignition Procedure
- Ensure the gas supply valve is open.
- Turn the control knob to the 'PILOT' position.
- Press and hold the control knob in while simultaneously pressing the Piezo ignition button repeatedly until the pilot flame ignites.
- Continue to hold the control knob in for approximately 30-60 seconds after the pilot ignites to allow the thermocouple to heat up. Release the knob; the pilot should remain lit.
- If the pilot does not remain lit, repeat steps 2-4.
- Once the pilot is stable, turn the control knob to the desired heat setting (1-5). The main burner will ignite.
Thermostat Control
The heater features a thermostat control with 5 variable heat settings. Rotate the control knob to select your preferred heat output. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
