4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your BOLISS BLS-2818HD Drafting Chair. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the five-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the five-star base.
3. Attach Footrest Ring: Slide the footrest ring over the gas lift cylinder. Ensure it is oriented correctly and can be adjusted later.

5. Operating Instructions

Your BOLISS Drafting Chair offers several adjustment features to customize your seating experience:

• Height Adjustment: To raise the chair, lift the lever located under the seat while taking your weight off the chair. To lower the chair, lift the lever while seated. Release the lever at the desired height.
• Headrest Adjustment: The 3D designed headrest can be adjusted in height to provide optimal neck and head support. Simply push or pull the headrest up or down to your preferred position.
• Armrest Adjustment: The armrests feature a 90-degree flip-up design. To raise them, lift them upwards until they lock into a vertical position. To lower them, lift slightly and then push them down.
• Footrest Ring Adjustment: The footrest ring can be adjusted up or down along the gas lift to accommodate different user heights and desk levels. Loosen the knob on the footrest ring, slide it to the desired height, and then re-tighten the knob securely.
