The Robo Alive Robo Boats, Tiger Shark and Robo Shark, are packaged together, ready for water-activated fun.
Setup
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the Robo Boats from their packaging. Ensure all components are present.
- Batteries: Each Robo Boat requires 3 LR44 batteries, which are included. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the boat. Use a small screwdriver to open the compartment, insert the batteries with correct polarity, and securely close the cover.
- Initial Activation: The Robo Boats are water-activated. Simply place them in water to bring them to life. There are no on/off switches.

Operating Instructions
The Robo Boats are designed for intuitive play:
- Water Activation: The boats automatically start moving when placed in water. Sensors on the underside detect water contact and activate the propeller.
- Realistic Movement: The boats race and glide through water, mimicking real speed boats.
- Impact Auto-Reverse: If a boat bumps into a solid object, the nose cone activates an auto-reverse feature. The engine briefly reverses, aided by a directional fin, then re-engages forward movement.
- Auto-Off Feature: To conserve battery life, the boats will automatically turn off after approximately 5 minutes of continuous movement when removed from water.
- Movable Rudder: Each boat features a movable rudder, allowing for adjustments to its course (e.g., tight circles, gentle curves).

Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, especially if used in soapy or bubbly water, rinse the boats with clean water. Ensure the water-activated sensors on the bottom are free from residue to maintain proper function.
- Drying: Thoroughly dry the boats before storing them. This helps prevent corrosion and extends battery life.
- Battery Replacement: When the boats' movement becomes sluggish or stops, it's time to replace the LR44 batteries. Refer to the 'Setup' section for instructions on accessing the battery compartment.
- Propeller Care: The propellers are made from soft plastic for safety. Regularly check for any debris or hair that might be entangled and carefully remove it.
