5. Initial Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Place the machine on a stable, level surface away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
5.2 Filling the Water Reservoir

Pull out the water reservoir from the side of the machine. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level indicator. Insert the Mavea Intenza filter as per its instructions. Slide the reservoir back into place until it clicks securely.
5.3 Filling the Bean Hopper

Open the lid of the bean hopper located on top of the machine. Pour fresh whole coffee beans into the hopper. Close the lid securely. The integrated grinder will process the beans as needed.
5.4 Attaching the Milk Carafe
If preparing milk-based beverages, fill the milk carafe with fresh milk. Attach the carafe to the designated port on the front of the machine. Ensure it is firmly connected.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On and Touchscreen Navigation
Press the ON/OFF button to power on the machine. The glass touchscreen display will illuminate. Use the touchscreen or the rotary knob to navigate through the menu of 19 available beverages.

6.2 Making a Coffee or Espresso
- Place a cup under the dispensing spout.
- Select your desired beverage (e.g., Espresso, Coffee, Americano) from the touchscreen.
- Customize settings such as aroma strength, volume, and temperature using the on-screen options.
- Press the Start button. The machine will grind the beans and dispense the beverage.

6.3 Preparing Milk-Based Beverages (e.g., Cappuccino, Latte)
- Ensure the milk carafe is filled with milk and correctly attached.
- Place a cup under the dispensing spout.
- Select your desired milk-based beverage (e.g., Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato).
- Customize settings as desired.
- Press the Start button. The machine will automatically froth and dispense the milk, followed by the coffee.
6.4 Using the Commercial Steam Wand
For manual milk frothing or hot water, use the commercial steam wand.

- Activate the steam/hot water function.
