4. Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your MD29 Mini Camera for use:
- Charge the Camera: Connect the camera to a DC 5V 1A or DC 5V 2A power source using the provided charging cable. The charging time is approximately 3-5 hours for a full charge.
- Insert Micro Memory Card: Locate the Micro Memory Card slot (TF slot) on the side of the camera. Insert a Micro Memory Card (up to 128GB, not included) with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is formatted before first use if necessary.
- Attach Back Clip (Optional): If you intend to wear the camera, slide the back clamp onto the designated grooves on the camera's body until it securely locks.

- PIR Video Recording: When the PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor detects motion, the camera will automatically begin recording. This mode conserves battery life, allowing for up to 30 days of standby time.
- Continuous Video Recording: To initiate continuous recording, slide the 'Videotape' switch to the recording position. The camera will record continuously until the battery runs out or the memory card is full.
