  • 120-Degree Wide-Angle Lens: Captures a broader field of view, ensuring more content is recorded.
  • Automatic Night Vision: Features 10 infrared lamps that automatically activate in low-light conditions and deactivate in daylight.
  • PIR Video Recording: Passive Infrared sensor detects motion, triggering video recording and offering an extended standby time of up to 30 days.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your MD29 Mini Camera for use:

  1. Charge the Camera: Connect the camera to a DC 5V 1A or DC 5V 2A power source using the provided charging cable. The charging time is approximately 3-5 hours for a full charge.
  2. Insert Micro Memory Card: Locate the Micro Memory Card slot (TF slot) on the side of the camera. Insert a Micro Memory Card (up to 128GB, not included) with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is formatted before first use if necessary.
  3. Attach Back Clip (Optional): If you intend to wear the camera, slide the back clamp onto the designated grooves on the camera's body until it securely locks.
  4. Attach Universal Bracket (Optional): For fixed mounting, screw the camera onto the universal bracket. The bracket allows for flexible positioning.

5. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the camera's controls and modes for effective operation.

5.1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Slide the power switch to the 'On' position. The indicator light will illuminate.
  • Power Off: Slide the power switch to the 'Off' position. The indicator light will turn off.

5.2. Recording Modes

  • PIR Video Recording: When the PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor detects motion, the camera will automatically begin recording. This mode conserves battery life, allowing for up to 30 days of standby time.
  • Continuous Video Recording: To initiate continuous recording, slide the 'Videotape' switch to the recording position. The camera will record continuously until the battery runs out or the memory card is full.

5.3. Automatic Night Vision

The MD29 Mini Camera features an automatic night vision function. The 10 infrared lamps will automatically activate when the ambient light is low and deactivate when sufficient light is present. No manual intervention is required for this feature.

5.4. Indicator Lights

Refer to the diagram in Section 4.1 for the location of the indicator light. The light provides status information regarding power, recording, and charging.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
