Setup Guide

1. Power Connection

  1. Ensure the mixer's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the adaptive power supply to the "EXTERNAL POWER INPUT SOCKET" on the rear of the mixer.

2. Connecting Audio Inputs

  • Microphones: Connect XLR microphones to the XLR input of the [6.5MM/XLR] Mono Input jacks. For condenser microphones, press the +48V Phantom Button for the corresponding channel.

Operating Instructions

This section details how to operate the various functions of your MROTEX PA8 Audio Mixer.

1. Basic Channel Operation

  1. Power On: After all connections are made, switch the mixer's power to ON.
  2. Gain Adjustment: For each input channel, adjust the [GAIN] Controller. Start with the gain low and gradually increase it until the signal is strong but not peaking (indicated by the LED level indicators).
  3. Equalization (EQ): Use the [HIGH], [MID], and [LOW] Tone Controllers to shape the sound of each channel.
    • HIGH: Adjusts treble frequencies (12kHz).

  1. Sending to FX: Use the [FX] Controller on each channel to send a portion of that channel's signal to the internal effects processor.
  2. Selecting Effects: Use the PROGRAM Controller knob in the DSP section to cycle through the 99 available effects. The selected effect number will be displayed on the LCD.
  3. Effect Level: Adjust the dedicated Effect Volume Fader to control the overall wet/dry mix of the applied effects.

3. 7-Band Stereo Graphic Equalizer

The graphic equalizer allows for fine-tuning of the overall main output sound.

Use the faders on the 7-Band Stereo Graphic Equalizer to boost or cut specific frequency bands (e.g., 150Hz, 400Hz, 1kHz, 2.5kHz, 6.4kHz, 15kHz) for the main stereo output. This helps in optimizing the sound for your listening environment or specific audio requirements.

4. MP3 Player / USB / Bluetooth Operation

The Digital MP3 Player section handles playback from USB drives and Bluetooth devices.

  • Mode Selection: Use the mode button to switch between USB and Bluetooth inputs.
  • Playback Controls: Use the play/pause, next, and previous buttons to control media playback.
  • Volume Control: Adjust the MP3 Volume Fader to control the output level of the digital media player.

5. Main Output Control
