  4. Adjust Suction Level: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease the suction intensity to a comfortable level. Start with a low setting and gradually increase.

  7. Remove Pump: Gently break the seal around your breast before removing the pump.
  8. Store Milk: Carefully detach the milk collector cup and transfer the milk to a suitable storage container.

8. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for hygiene and the longevity of your breast pump. The milk collector cup and flange are dishwasher safe.

8.1 After Each Use

  • Disassemble all parts that come into contact with milk (milk collector cup, flange, diaphragm, valve).
  • Rinse these parts immediately with cold water to remove milk residue.
  • Wash thoroughly with warm, soapy water using a dedicated brush.
  • Rinse again with clean water.
  • Allow parts to air dry completely on a clean drying rack. Do not use a cloth to dry, as this can transfer germs.
  • Wipe the motor unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not submerge the motor unit in water.

8.2 Sterilization

  • Sterilize all milk-contacting parts at least once a day, especially for newborns or infants with compromised immune systems.
  • Methods include boiling water for 5 minutes, steam sterilization, or using a dishwasher with a sanitizing cycle.
  • Ensure parts are completely dry before storing or reassembling.
