2. Safety Guidelines

Always read and follow all instructions in this manual carefully before installing and using the car seat. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death to your child.

  • Ensure the car seat is correctly installed according to the vehicle's and car seat's instructions.
  • Always secure your child with the 5-point harness (up to 105 cm) or the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt (from 100 cm to 150 cm).
  • Never leave your child unattended in the car seat.
  • Do not use the car seat if it has been involved in an accident, even if there is no visible damage.
  • Regularly check that the harness straps are correctly adjusted and not twisted.
  • The car seat is designed for children from 76 cm to 150 cm. Do not use for children outside this height range.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 ISOFIX and Top-Tether Installation

The Osann Swift360 S i-Size car seat is installed using the ISOFIX system and a Top-Tether strap for maximum stability and safety. Ensure your vehicle is equipped with ISOFIX anchor points and a Top-Tether attachment point.

  1. Locate the ISOFIX anchor points in your vehicle's back seat.
  2. Extend the ISOFIX connectors from the car seat base by pressing the release buttons.
  3. Align the ISOFIX connectors with the vehicle's anchor points and push firmly until they click into place. Green indicators should appear, confirming correct attachment.
  4. Push the car seat firmly against the vehicle's seat back to remove any slack.
  5. Attach the Top-Tether strap hook to the designated Top-Tether anchor point in your vehicle (usually behind the seat or in the boot).
  6. Tighten the Top-Tether strap until it is taut, ensuring the car seat is securely anchored.

3.2 Swivel Function

The 360° swivel function allows you to rotate the car seat for easier child placement and to switch between rear-facing and forward-facing modes. To rotate the seat, locate the rotation lever (refer to the product's specific markings) and engage it while turning the seat.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Securing Your Child

For children from 76 cm to 105 cm, use the integrated 5-point harness. For children from 100 cm to 150 cm, the integrated harness should be removed, and the child secured with the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt.

Using the 5-Point Harness:

  1. Rotate the car seat towards the car door for easy access.
  2. Use the magnetic buckle holders to keep the harness straps open and out of the way.
  3. Place your child in the seat.
  4. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and connect the two buckle tongues into the central buckle until they click.
  5. Pull the adjustment strap to tighten the harness until it is snug against your child's body, ensuring no more than two fingers can fit between the strap and your child's collarbone.

Using the Vehicle's 3-Point Seatbelt (for children 100-150 cm):

  1. Remove the integrated 5-point harness (refer to the full manual for detailed instructions).
  2. Place your child in the car seat.
  3. Guide the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt through the designated red belt guides on the car seat.
  4. Ensure the lap belt is low across your child's hips and the shoulder belt rests across the center of their shoulder and chest, not on their neck.
  5. Buckle the vehicle's seatbelt and pull to remove any slack.

4.2 Headrest Adjustment

The headrest can be adjusted to 12 different height positions to ensure optimal protection and comfort as your child grows. To adjust, locate the headrest adjustment lever (usually at the top of the headrest or back of the seat), squeeze it, and slide the headrest up or down to the desired position. The harness system will automatically adjust with the headrest.

4.3 Recline Positions

The car seat offers 5 recline positions for your child's comfort. To adjust the recline, locate the recline adjustment lever (typically at the front or side of the base), engage it, and tilt the seat to the desired angle. Ensure the seat is securely locked in the chosen position before travel.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Cleaning the Cover

The car seat cover is made of 100% polyester and can be removed for cleaning. Refer to the care label on the cover for specific washing instructions. Generally, machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and air dry. Do not tumble dry or iron.

5.2 Cleaning the Shell and Harness

Wipe the plastic shell and harness straps with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or using the car seat.
