4. Product Overview
The EICOBOT R20 features a slim design for cleaning under furniture and advanced sensors for navigation.

The R20 is equipped with infrared anti-collision and anti-drop sensors to intelligently avoid obstacles and stairs. It can climb inclines of up to 15 degrees, making it suitable for various floor types including hard floors and low-pile carpets.

5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the robot vacuum and all accessories from the packaging.
- Install Side Brushes: Attach the side brushes to the designated slots on the bottom of the robot until they click into place.
- Place Charging Dock: Position the charging dock against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter (3 feet) to the front and 0.5 meters (1.5 feet) to the sides. Connect the power adapter to the charging dock and plug it into a power outlet.
- Initial Charge: Place the robot vacuum onto the charging dock. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the dock. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status. Fully charge the robot before its first use (approximately 4-5 hours).
- Prepare Cleaning Area: Remove any loose cables, small objects, or fragile items from the floor to prevent entanglement or damage.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button on the robot or the remote control until the indicator light illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button on the robot or the remote control until the indicator light turns off.
6.2 Start/Pause Cleaning
- To Start Cleaning: Press the 'Clean' button on the robot or the remote control. The robot will begin cleaning in its default mode.
- To Pause Cleaning: Press the 'Clean' button again during operation. The robot will pause. Press again to resume.
6.3 Automatic Recharging
The EICOBOT R20 is equipped with an 1800mAh battery, providing up to 120 minutes of cleaning time (covering up to 1300 sq ft) in quiet mode. When the battery level drops below 15% or when a cleaning cycle is complete, the robot will automatically return to its charging dock to recharge.
7. Cleaning Modes
The EICOBOT R20 offers multiple cleaning modes to suit various needs, all controllable via the included remote control:
- Zigzag Cleaning: The robot cleans in a systematic zigzag pattern, ideal for general cleaning of open areas.
- Spot Cleaning: Concentrates cleaning power on a specific dirty area, moving in a spiral pattern.
- Edge Cleaning: The robot follows walls and furniture edges to ensure thorough cleaning along boundaries.
- Manual Control: Use the directional buttons on the remote control to guide the robot manually to specific areas.
8. Maintenance

8.1 Dustbin and Filter Cleaning

- Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
- Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash bin.
- Remove the HEPA filter and primary filter. Tap them gently to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water.
- Rinse the dustbin with water if necessary, ensuring it is completely dry before reinstallation.
- Reinstall the filters and dustbin.
The R20 features a unique air inlet design, providing tangle-free suction, especially beneficial for pet hair. The large 550ml dust box efficiently collects pet hair and debris.

8.2 Side Brush Cleaning
- Regularly check side brushes for tangled hair or debris.
- Gently pull the side brushes to remove them.
- Remove any tangled hair or debris using a cleaning tool or your fingers.
- Reinstall the side brushes, ensuring they click into place.
8.3 Sensor Cleaning
- Wipe the anti-drop sensors (located on the bottom of the robot) and anti-collision sensors (located on the front bumper) with a clean, dry cloth.
- Ensure the charging contacts on the robot and charging dock are clean.
