4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the included mounting bracket to the laser light unit using the provided screws. The bracket allows for versatile positioning on a flat surface, wall, or ceiling.
- Power Connection:
- Connect the power adapter to the device's power input (AC90-240V 50/60Hz) and then to a suitable power outlet.
- Alternatively, use the USB power cable to connect the device to a compatible USB power source (e.g., laptop, power bank).
- Remote Control Battery: Insert 1 CR2032 battery (not included) into the remote control.
- Positioning: Place the laser light in a desired location, ensuring the projection area is clear and free from obstructions. Avoid pointing the laser directly at people or sensitive surfaces.

5. Operating Instructions
The Gruolin GL-A02 offers multiple operation modes, controllable via the included remote or DMX512.
5.1. Control Panel Overview

- ON/OFF: Power button.
- LED: Toggles the LED disco ball effect.
- LASER: Toggles the laser effects.
- A1, A2, A3: Preset automatic modes with various combinations of LED and laser patterns.
- FLASH: Activates a strobe/flash effect.
- MUSIC 1, MUSIC 2, MUSIC 3: Sound-activated modes where effects respond to music rhythm.
- PAUSE: Freezes the current effect.
- UP/DOWN/MENU/ENTER: Used for navigating the device's built-in display settings (if applicable, for DMX address or advanced modes).
- MIN/MAX: Adjusts motor speed or effect intensity.
5.2. Operation Modes
- Auto Mode: The device cycles through various pre-programmed patterns and effects automatically. Selectable via remote (A1, A2, A3).
- Sound Activated Mode: The laser effects respond to ambient sound or music. Use MUSIC 1, MUSIC 2, or MUSIC 3 buttons on the remote.
- DMX512 Mode: For professional control, connect the device to a DMX controller using DMX IN/OUT ports. The device supports 6 and 34 DMX channels, allowing for precise control over movement, rotation, zoom, color changes, and other effects. Refer to the DMX chart in the full manual for channel assignments.
- Master/Slave Mode: Connect multiple GL-A02 units via DMX cables. Set one unit as "Master" and others as "Slave" for synchronized operation.
5.3. Enhancing Visual Effects
For the best laser beam and scanning effects, it is highly recommended to use the device in a smoky or hazy environment. Without smoke, you will primarily see patterns and animated graphics on surfaces, but the dynamic beams will be less visible.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the lens and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.
- Power Disconnection: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check if the power adapter is securely connected and the power outlet is functional. Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the device is in the 'ON' position.
- No Laser/LED Output: Verify that the LED and LASER buttons on the remote control are activated. Check if the device is in a paused state.
- Remote Not Responding: Ensure the remote control battery is correctly inserted and has sufficient charge. Point the remote directly at the IR receiver on the device.
- Effects Not Changing: If in DMX mode, ensure the DMX controller is sending appropriate signals and the DMX address on the device is correctly set. In sound-activated mode, ensure there is sufficient audio input.
- Weak or Incomplete Beams: Ensure the environment has adequate smoke or haze for optimal beam visibility.
