6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Using as a Camera Monopod
- Extend the monopod to a comfortable height for shooting.
- Place the base of the monopod on a stable surface. For uneven terrain, consider using the metal spike by twisting the rubber foot to expose it.
- Hold the monopod firmly with one hand, and operate your camera with the other. Lean the monopod slightly towards your body for added stability.
- Utilize the anti-loss wrist strap for extra security, especially when moving.
6.2 Using as a Hiking Stick
- Adjust the monopod to a suitable height for walking, typically with your elbow bent at a 90-degree angle when holding the grip.
- Ensure the metal spike is exposed for better grip on soft ground or trails.
- Use the wrist strap for comfort and to prevent dropping the stick.
6.3 Using as a Selfie Stick
- Attach a phone holder (not included) to the 1/4 inch screw at the top.
- Extend the monopod to capture wider angles or group shots.
- Ensure your device is securely mounted before extending.
7. Maintenance
- Clean the monopod regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
- Keep the quick release buckles free from dirt and debris to ensure smooth operation.
- Store the monopod in a dry, cool place when not in use.
8. Troubleshooting
- Monopod sections not locking: Check if the quick release buckles are fully closed. Clean any debris from the locking mechanism.
- Camera feels unstable: Ensure the camera is tightly screwed onto the mounting plate. Verify that the monopod sections are fully extended and locked. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity.
