Setup

1. Charging the Battery

The ATS-25 max-Decoder is equipped with a 3000mAh lithium-ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

  • Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the device's Type-C port.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  • The charging indicator on the device will show charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.

2. Attaching the Antenna

For optimal reception, attach the included telescopic or stubby antenna to the BNC connector on the device.

  • Align the BNC connector on the antenna with the BNC port on the radio.
  • Push the antenna connector onto the port and twist clockwise until it locks securely.
  • For best performance, extend the telescopic antenna fully when in use.

3. Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the display illuminates. The device will boot up and display the main operating interface.

Operation

1. Frequency Range and Band Selection

The ATS-25 max-Decoder supports a wide range of frequencies across multiple bands:

  • FM: 64-108MHz (with RDS function)
  • LW: 153-500KHz
  • MW: 520-1710KHz
  • SW: 1730-30000KHz
  • SSB: 17030KHz

Use the BAND button to cycle through available frequency bands. The display will indicate the currently selected band.

2. Tuning and Frequency Entry

  • Tuning Knob: Rotate the large knob on the right side of the device to adjust the frequency. The tuning step can be changed using the STEP button.
  • Direct Frequency Entry: Use the numeric keypad to directly input a desired frequency. Press the FREQ button to activate frequency entry mode, input the numbers, and confirm.
  • Station Search Function: The device includes a station search function. Consult the on-screen menus for this feature.
  • HAM Band Fast Channel: A dedicated HAM button allows for quick access to amateur radio bands.

3. Modulation Modes and Digital Decoding

4. WiFi Functionality
