5. Setup and Pairing
5.1. Clearing Existing Codes
To clear all previously paired remote controls from the receiver's memory:
- Locate the Learning Button on the receiver board.
- Press and hold the Learning Button until the indicator light turns off. This indicates that all stored codes have been successfully cleared.
5.2. Pairing a Remote Control (Learning Mode)
To pair a new remote control with the receiver:
- Press the Learning Button on the receiver once. The indicator light will flash once and then turn off. This signifies the receiver is ready to learn a new code in Momentary mode.
- Immediately press any button on your remote control. The indicator light on the receiver will flash to confirm successful pairing.
- Repeat for additional remote controls if needed.
6. Operating Modes
The receiver supports several operating modes, which determine how the relay responds to remote control input. You can set the desired mode by pressing the Mode Button on the receiver board a specific number of times.
6.1. Momentary Mode
In Momentary mode, the relay activates only as long as the remote control button is pressed. Releasing the button deactivates the relay.
- Setting: Press the Mode Button once. The indicator will flash once and turn off.
6.2. Latch Mode
In Latch mode, one button press activates the relay, and another distinct button press is required to deactivate it.
- Setting: Press the Mode Button twice. The indicator will flash twice and turn off.
6.3. Toggle Mode
In Toggle mode, a single button press activates the relay, and pressing the same button again deactivates it. It acts like a flip-flop switch.
- Setting: Press the Mode Button three times. The indicator will flash three times and turn off.
6.4. 5-Second Delay Mode
This mode activates the relay for a fixed duration of 5 seconds after a button press, then automatically deactivates it.
