Setup

Initial Charging

The 2 TX (transmitters) and the RX (receiver) units are pre-linked and charged when securely stored in the charging case. For optimal performance, it is recommended to fully charge the system before first use. Connect the charging case to a power source using one of the provided USB cables.

Pairing

The units are pre-linked from the factory. If re-pairing is necessary, short press the power button on the TX units three times to enter pairing mode. The RX unit will automatically detect and pair with the TX units when both are powered on and within range.

Connectivity

The Probox BT08 system offers wide compatibility with various devices:

  • DSLR Cameras & Computers: Use the included 3.5mm-TRS-to-TRS cable. Connect one end to the RX unit and the other to the microphone input of your camera or computer.
  • Smartphones (USB-C/Lightning): Use the appropriate USB-A/C to USB-C/Lightning cable. Connect the USB-C or Lightning end to your smartphone and the other end to the RX unit.

Operating Instructions

One-Click Noise Cancellation

The BT08 features a cutting-edge DSP noise cancellation chip. To activate or deactivate environmental noise cancellation, press the dedicated noise cancellation button on the transmitter unit. This function helps to clarify audio by reducing unwanted background noise.
