4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- Power On: Flip the main power switch (usually on the front or side) to the 'ON' position. The LED displays will illuminate.
- Individual Tool Power: Use the separate power switches for the soldering iron and hot air gun to activate each tool as needed.
- Power Off: Turn off individual tool switches, then the main power switch. Unplug the unit from the power outlet when not in use for extended periods.
4.2 Soldering Iron Operation
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the 'SOLDER' temperature adjustment buttons (Up/Down arrows) to set the desired temperature. The range is 356°F to 932°F (180°C to 500°C).
- Heating: The iron will quickly heat to the set temperature. The display will show the current temperature.
- Usage: Once the desired temperature is reached, the soldering iron is ready for use. Always clean the tip on the wet sponge before and after soldering.
4.3 Hot Air Gun Operation
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the 'REWORK' temperature adjustment buttons (Up/Down arrows) to set the desired temperature. The range is 212°F to 932°F (100°C to 500°C).
- Air Volume Adjustment: Use the 'AIR' adjustment buttons (+/-) to control the airflow.
- Heating: The hot air gun will heat to the set temperature.
- Automatic Sleep Function: When the hot air gun handle is placed on its bracket, it automatically enters sleep mode. The heating element cools down while the fan continues to run briefly to protect the element. When lifted from the bracket, it quickly resumes the last set temperature.
- Nozzle Selection: Choose an appropriate hot air nozzle for your application and attach it securely.

4.4 Temperature Unit Conversion (°C/°F)
To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, refer to the specific instructions in your unit's quick start guide or press and hold the 'SET' button for a few seconds until the unit changes.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your soldering station.
- Soldering Tip Cleaning: Always clean the soldering iron tip with a damp sponge or brass wool before and after each use to remove oxidation and solder residue. This helps prevent tip corrosion and ensures efficient heat transfer.
- Tip Replacement: If a soldering tip becomes excessively worn or corroded, replace it with a new one. Ensure the station is off and cooled before changing tips.
- Hot Air Nozzle Cleaning/Replacement: Periodically check hot air nozzles for blockages or damage. Clean as needed or replace if damaged.
- Unit Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and tools with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquids enter the unit.
- Heating Element Lifespan: The automatic sleep function for the hot air gun is designed to extend the life of its heating element. Always utilize the holder when not actively using the hot air gun.
