3. Camera Overview

Familiarize yourself with the various parts of your camera.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Open the battery cover located at the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the NP-120 Lithium-Ion battery into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery cover securely.
  4. To charge, connect the camera to a power source using the provided Type-C USB cable. The power indicator will show charging status.

4.2. Memory Card Insertion

The camera supports TF (Micro SD) cards up to 128GB. A 64GB TF card is included.

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Insert the TF card with the metal contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently press the card until it springs out.

4.3. Initial Power On and Settings

  1. Press and hold the Power Key to turn on the camera.
  2. Upon first use, you may be prompted to set the language, date, and time. Use the navigation keys and OK/Menu Key to adjust these settings.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1. Taking Photos

  1. Turn on the camera. Ensure it is in photo mode (check the display or press the Playback/Mode Key to switch).
  2. Frame your shot using the TFT display.
  3. Lightly press the Photo Key (shutter button) halfway down to activate autofocus. A green frame will appear when focus is achieved.
  4. Press the Photo Key fully down to capture the image.

5.2. Zoom Function

Use the T/W Key to adjust the 18X digital zoom.

  • Press 'T' to zoom in (telephoto).
  • Press 'W' to zoom out (wide-angle).

5.3. Using Filters

The camera offers 8 different photo filters to enhance your images.

  1. Rotate the Filter Turntable to select a desired filter (e.g., Standard, Nostalgic, Monochrome, Vivid, Negative, Dog Eye, Binary, Lomo).
  2. The selected filter will be applied to your photos.

5.4. Video Recording

The camera supports 4K video recording with anti-shake and pause functions.

  1. Switch the camera to video mode using the Playback/Mode Key.
  2. Press the Photo Key to start recording. A recording indicator will appear on the screen.
  3. Press the Photo Key again to stop recording.
  4. During recording, you can use the pause function (refer to on-screen prompts or manual for specific button).

5.5. Playback and Deletion

  1. Press the Playback/Mode Key to enter playback mode.
  2. Use the navigation keys (Left/Right) to browse through your photos and videos.
  3. To delete a file, select it and press the Front/Delete Key. Confirm deletion when prompted.

6. Advanced Features

6.1. Continuous Shooting

Capture a rapid sequence of images by holding down the shutter button. This feature is useful for capturing fast-moving subjects.

6.2. Anti-Shake Function

The camera features digital image stabilization to reduce blur caused by camera movement, especially useful in handheld shooting or low light.

6.3. Face Capture

This function automatically detects and focuses on faces within the frame, optimizing exposure for portraits.

6.4. Time-Lapse Recording

Record events over a long period and play them back in a sped-up video. Configure interval settings in the camera menu.

7. Connectivity

7.1. USB Connection (PC Camera & Data Transfer)

Connect the camera to a computer using the Type-C USB cable. The camera can function as a webcam for video calls or live streaming, or for fast transfer of photos and videos to your computer.

7.2. WiFi Function

Transfer photos and videos wirelessly to your smartphone. Activate the WiFi function on the camera (using the Back/WiFi Key) and follow the instructions to connect to your mobile device via a dedicated app (if applicable, check camera display for app name or QR code).

7.3. HDMI Output

Connect the camera to a TV or monitor using an HDMI cable (not included) to view your photos and videos on a larger screen.

8. Maintenance

8.1. Cleaning the Camera
