4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Headband

Before first use, fully charge your Voerou Sleep Headphones. The device charges in approximately 1-2 hours and provides 8-10 hours of playtime.

1. Locate the charging port on the control panel.
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the port.
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
4. A red indicator light will typically show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged.

4.2. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your headband to a Bluetooth-enabled device:

1. Ensure the headband is charged and turned off.
2. Press and hold the Power/Play/Pause button on the control panel until you hear a voice prompt indicating "Power On" and then "Pairing". The indicator light may flash blue/red.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
4. Search for available devices. The headband should appear as "VOEB01" or a similar name.
5. Select the headband from the list to pair. Once connected, you will hear a voice prompt "Connected".
6. The headband will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device's Bluetooth is active and within range.

The control panel on the front of the headband allows for easy management of your audio and calls.

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the Play/Pause button.
• Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
• Volume Up: Long press the '+' button.
• Volume Down: Long press the '-' button.
• Next Song: Short press the '+' button.
• Previous Song: Short press the '-' button.
• Answer/End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button during an incoming call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button during an incoming call.
• Voice Assistant: Double-tap the Play/Pause button (functionality may vary by device).

The headband material is washable. To ensure longevity of the electronic components, follow these steps:

1. Gently push the control panel and speakers out of their pockets within the headband.
2. Carefully remove all electronic components (control panel, speakers, battery) from the headband through the separated stitching.
3. Once all electronics are removed, the fabric headband can be washed by hand or machine.
4. Allow the headband to air dry completely before reinserting the electronic components.
5. Reinsert the speakers and control panel into their designated pockets, ensuring correct orientation.

7. Troubleshooting

• Cannot Power On: Ensure the headband is fully charged.
• Cannot Pair: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the headband is in pairing mode. Try restarting both devices.
• No Sound/Low Volume: Check the volume levels on both the headband and your connected device. Ensure the speakers are correctly positioned over your ears.
• Intermittent Connection: Ensure your device is within the Bluetooth range (typically 10 meters/33 feet) and there are no significant obstructions.
• Automatic Shut-off: The headband is designed to automatically turn off when the battery is low, without beeping, to avoid disturbing your sleep. Recharge the device.
