3. Operating Instructions

Operating the Brother Skitch machine involves preparing your material, selecting or creating a design in the Artspira app, and initiating the embroidery process.

3.1 Preparing Your Material and Hoop

Place your fabric or item within the 4” x 4” magnetic hoop. The strong magnets help secure various materials, including towels, plush fabric, and denim, without leaving marks. Ensure the material is taut and smooth within the hoop to prevent puckering or uneven stitching.

  • Create Designs: Use built-in drawing tools to create line-art inspired embroidery designs directly on your mobile device.
  • Import Designs: Import your own PES, PHC, PHX, or DST embroidery files. The free version allows storage of up to 20 designs.
  • Browse Designs: Access a library of over 100 free embroidery artist designs upon machine registration, plus additional designs within the app.
