1. Safety Information

4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your QTREE intelligence Model 101 fan:

1. Attach Pole to Base: Securely attach the lower pole section to the fan base. Rotate the triangular nut clockwise from underneath the base to lock it in place.
2. Connect Upper Pole: Rotate the upper pole section clockwise and screw it into the lower pole.
3. Mount Fan Head: Rotate the main fan body clockwise and control it into the upper pole until it is firmly attached.
4. Adjust Height: Loosen the height adjustment knob on the pole, extend or retract the pole to your desired height (between 35.4" and 43.3"), then tighten the knob to secure.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the fan's power port and then into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The fan can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel & Remote Functions:

• Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the fan on or off.
• Speed Adjustment: Select from 3 wind modes (High, Medium, Low) to adjust the fan speed.
• Oscillation: Activate 3D oscillation for 90° horizontal and 90° vertical air movement.
• Timer: Set the timer for up to 8 hours of continuous operation.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your fan.

• Cleaning the Fan Head: The fan head is designed to be removable for easy cleaning. Twist and detach the front grille, then carefully remove the fan blades. Wash the blades and grille with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reassembling.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or covered to protect it from dust.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Fan Not Turning On:
  - Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the fan and a working electrical outlet.
  - Check if the outlet is functional by plugging in another appliance.
• Weak Airflow:
  - Increase the fan speed setting.
  - Ensure the fan grille and blades are clean and free from dust or obstructions.
  - Verify that the fan is not too far from the desired area of airflow.
• Fan Not Oscillating:
  - Ensure the oscillation function is activated via the control panel or remote.
  - Check for any physical obstructions preventing movement.
• Unusual Noise:
  - Turn off and unplug the fan. Check for any loose parts or foreign objects caught in the blades or grille.
  - Ensure the fan is placed on a stable, level surface.
• Remote Control Not Working:
  - Check and replace the remote control batteries if necessary.
  - Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fan's receiver.
