1. Introduction

The BodyPedia 8-Electrode Smart Scale is an advanced body composition analysis monitor designed to provide comprehensive health insights. 2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Setup

  • Carefully remove the BodyPedia Smart Scale from its packaging.
  • Ensure all components are present: the scale unit and any included accessories.
  • Place the scale on a hard, flat surface for accurate measurements. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring.

2.2 App Download and Pairing

To unlock the full potential of your BodyPedia Smart Scale, download the official BodyPedia app from your device's app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android).

  1. Download and install the "BodyPedia" app on your smartphone.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  3. Open the BodyPedia app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in.
  4. The app will guide you through the pairing process. Ensure the scale is powered on (by stepping on it briefly) and within Bluetooth range of your phone.

3. Operating the Scale

3.1 Taking a Measurement

For a complete body composition analysis, follow these steps:

  1. Step 1: Open the app and connect to BodyPedia via Bluetooth. Ensure the app is open and connected to your scale.
  2. Step 2: Stand on BodyPedia for 3 seconds to get weight measurement. Step onto the scale barefoot. The display will show your weight.
  3. Step 3: Pop out the handles on both sides. Gently pull out the integrated handles from the sides of the scale.
  4. Step 4: Grip the handles in a standing position for 26 seconds to complete the test. Hold the handles firmly with both hands, ensuring good contact with the electrodes. Remain still until the measurement is complete. Check the results on your phone when completed.

3.2 Understanding Your Body Composition Data

The BodyPedia Smart Scale provides over 43 different body measurement parameters, offering a comprehensive view of your health. These metrics include, but are not limited to, muscle mass, water percentage, visceral fat, BMI, protein content, bone mineral, and segmental analysis of fat and muscle for different body parts (arms, legs, trunk).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning
