Key Components:

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your juicer before first use.

  1. Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Align the juicing bowl onto the motor base and rotate until it locks securely into place.
  3. Insert the auger (screw propeller) into the juicing bowl. Ensure it is seated correctly.

  4. Attach the feed chute assembly onto the juicing bowl, ensuring it clicks into place. The lid must be open to install or take apart.

  5. Place the juice container under the juice outlet and the pulp container under the pulp outlet.
  6. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (120 Volts).

Operating Instructions

Your Amumu Cold Press Juicer is designed for efficient and easy juicing.

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Thanks to the 5.4-inch extra-large feed chute, you can add whole-sized apples and other large produce without extensive chopping, saving preparation time.

  2. Start Juicing: Turn the control dial to the "ON" position. The juicer operates with slow-speed cold press technology (43 RPM) to preserve nutrients and flavor.

  3. Feed Ingredients: Slowly feed the prepared ingredients into the feed chute. Use the food pusher to guide them down. Do not force ingredients.

  4. Automatic Safety: The machine will stop working if the lid of the feed chute is left open, enhancing safety, especially around children.

  5. Anti-Jam Reverse Function: If a blockage occurs, turn the dial to the "REV" (Reverse) position to clear the obstruction. This ensures uninterrupted juicing.

  6. Enjoy Your Juice: The slow-pressing technology ensures your juice is more nutritious and tastes better, locking in freshness and nutrients.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your juicer.

Cleaning:

The Amumu masticating juicer features a simple one-piece design that is easy to clean in just 5 minutes.

  1. Unplug the juicer from the power outlet.
  2. Disassemble the parts (feed chute assembly, auger, juicing bowl, containers). Remember the lid must be open to disassemble.
  3. Rinse all removable parts under running water. Use the included specialized brush to remove any pulp residue from the filter and other components.

  4. Most removable parts are dishwasher safe for added convenience.
  5. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water.
  6. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Storage:

Store the assembled juicer in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Low Juice Yield / Pulp Not DryJuicing soft fruits exclusively; Ingredients not properly prepared.This is a slow juicer, not a citrus juicer. Soft fruits yield less juice but retain more nutrients. Mix hard fruits with soft fruits for better results.
Fruit StuckOverfeeding or large pieces.Stir with the pusher provided. If stuck, press the reverse button to clear the obstruction.
