2. Setup

Before operating the device, ensure all components are present and the main unit is charged.

2.1. Charging the Device

2.2. Connecting Probes and Earphones

The kit includes two types of detection probes: a flat probe and a long probe (needle probe). Select the appropriate probe based on the detection environment.

• Flat Probe: Use the flat probe by connecting it to the audio input jack. Ensure the button on the probe is facing to the right when inserted.
• Long Probe (Needle Probe): Use the long probe by connecting it to the audio input jack. Ensure the button on the probe is facing to the left when inserted.
• Earphones: Plug the high-definition earphones into the Audio Output Jack on the main unit.

3. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to effectively use the water leakage detection kit:

1. Connect Components: Ensure the selected probe and earphones are securely connected to the main unit as described in Section 2.2.
2. Power On and Adjust Volume: Turn on the device using the switch/volume adjustment knob. Slowly adjust the volume to a comfortable listening level.
3. Select Probe Mode: Use the switch to select the correct mode for the connected probe (left for long probe, right for flat probe).
4. Begin Detection: Place the probe firmly against the surface where you suspect a leak. Listen carefully through the earphones for sounds of water leakage, such as dripping, flowing, or bubbling.
5. Pinpoint Leak Location: Move the probe systematically across the suspected area. The sound of the leak will become louder as you get closer to its source.
