Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Eujgoov Smart Sound and Light Alarm (WiFi Type). This device functions as a security alarm, integrating a 90dB siren with a visible light strobe, controllable via a mobile application. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Setup Instructions

1. Package Contents

Verify that all items are present in the package:

• 1 x Smart Sound and Light Alarm
• 1 x USB Cable
• 1 x User Manual
• 1 x Screw
• 1 x Screw Tube
• 1 x Adhesive Paper

2. Powering the Device

The Smart Sound and Light Alarm can be powered in two ways:

• USB Cable: Connect the provided USB cable to the device's USB port and to a standard USB power adapter (not included). This provides continuous power.
• CR123A Batteries: Insert two CR123A 3V Li-Ion batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. This allows for portable operation and acts as a backup power source.

3. App Installation and Pairing

To control the alarm remotely, download the compatible smart home application (e.g., Tuya Smart or Smart Life) from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add and pair your Smart Sound and Light Alarm. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as the device operates on this frequency.

4. Mounting the Device

The alarm supports wall mounting. Use the provided screw, screw tube, and adhesive paper to securely attach the device to a desired location. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and stable.

Operating Instructions

1. Alarm Tones and Volume Adjustment

The alarm comes with 18 pre-installed selectable alarm tones. You can adjust the volume to three levels: low, medium, and high, directly through the mobile application.

2. App Remote Control and Scene Creation

Utilize the mobile application for remote control of the alarm. You can create custom scenes by linking the alarm with other smart home devices such as motion sensors, door sensors, or window sensors. For example, configure the alarm to sound when motion is detected or a door is opened.

3. Wireless Operation

The alarm utilizes a 2.4GHz wireless frequency, offering a wireless range of approximately 55 meters (180.4 feet). This allows for flexible placement within your home or office environment.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

If using battery power, monitor the battery level via the mobile application. When the battery is low, replace both CR123A 3V Li-Ion batteries to ensure continuous operation.

2. Cleaning

To clean the device, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these may damage the device.

Troubleshooting

• Device not powering on: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to a power source or that fresh CR123A batteries are correctly inserted.
• Cannot connect to Wi-Fi: Verify that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Ensure the device is within range of your router. Restart the device and your router, then attempt pairing again.
• Alarm not sounding: Check the volume settings in the app. Ensure the alarm is properly triggered by linked sensors or manual activation.
• App not responding: Close and reopen the app. Ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection.
