2. Important Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using any gas appliance to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious injury, or death.

  • Gas Type Verification: Ensure the stove is connected to the correct gas supply (Natural Gas or Liquefied Petroleum Gas) as specified for your model. Incorrect gas type can lead to dangerous operation. This specific model is configured for Liquefied Petroleum Gas.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation in the cooking area to prevent the accumulation of unburnt gases.
  • Leak Checks: After installation and any maintenance, always check for gas leaks using a soapy water solution. Never use an open flame.
  • Flame-Out Protection: This stove is equipped with an integrated flame-out protection system that automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame is accidentally extinguished. Do not attempt to bypass or modify this safety feature.
  • Child Safety Lock: Utilize the press-type child lock design on the control knob to prevent accidental operation by children.
  • Clearance: Maintain proper clearance from combustible materials around the stove.
  • Professional Installation: Installation and servicing should be performed by a qualified technician in accordance with local codes and regulations.
  • Hot Surfaces: The stove surface and cooking grates will be hot during and after use. Allow sufficient time for cooling before cleaning or touching.

4. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and optimal performance of your gas stove. It is highly recommended that installation be performed by a qualified professional.

4.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the stove from its packaging.
  • Check for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not install and contact your supplier immediately.
  • Ensure all components listed in the packing list (Stove, Manual) are present.

4.2 Gas Type Configuration

This model is configured for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). If you intend to use Natural Gas, ensure the appropriate conversion kit is installed by a qualified technician. Using the wrong gas type is dangerous and will void the warranty.

4.3 Installation Options

The stove can be used as a desktop unit or embedded into a countertop.

  • Desktop Use: Place the stove on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate clearance from walls and overhead cabinets.
  • Embedded Installation:
    1. Prepare a countertop opening with dimensions of 265mm x 385mm.
    2. Ensure the countertop material is heat-resistant and structurally sound.
    3. Carefully lower the stove into the opening.
    4. Ensure the stove is level and securely seated.

4.4 Gas Connection

  • Connect the gas supply line to the stove's inlet using appropriate fittings and a flexible gas hose (not included).
  • Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free. Perform a leak test using soapy water: apply a solution to all connections; bubbles indicate a leak. Tighten connections until no bubbles appear.
  • Do not use the stove if a gas leak is detected.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Before First Use

  • Ensure all packaging materials are removed from the stove.
  • Wipe the stove surface with a damp cloth.
  • Confirm gas supply is connected and turned on.

5.2 Ignition

  1. Ensure the control knob is in the "OFF" position.
  2. To ignite: Press down the control knob and rotate it counter-clockwise to the desired flame setting (e.g., "Hot AA" for high heat). You will hear a clicking sound from the electronic pulse ignition.
  3. Hold the knob down for a few seconds after the flame ignites to allow the flame-out protection sensor to heat up.
  4. If the flame does not ignite, release the knob, wait a few seconds, and repeat the process.

5.3 Adjusting Flame Intensity

  • Once ignited, rotate the control knob to adjust the flame intensity from high ("Hot AA") to low ("Low Fire").
  • The large-screen adjustable firepower allows for precise control over cooking temperatures.

5.4 Child Safety Lock

The control knob features a press-type child lock design. To operate the stove, you must first press down on the knob before rotating it. This prevents accidental turning on of the gas by children.

5.5 Turning Off

  • Rotate the control knob clockwise to the "OFF" position.
  • Ensure the flame is completely extinguished.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your stove.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Allow the stove to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the tempered glass panel with a soft cloth and mild detergent. The one-piece molding design makes cleaning easy.
  • Remove and clean the cooking grates and burner caps with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before placing them back.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface.

6.2 Periodic Maintenance

  • Periodically check the gas hose and connections for any signs of wear, cracks, or leaks. Replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the burner ports are clear of food debris or blockages. Use a fine wire or needle to clear any clogged ports.
  • The damper regulating valve (see Figure 6) can be adjusted by a qualified technician to optimize the air-gas mixture for a clean blue flame. Do not attempt to adjust this yourself unless you are qualified.
