1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your SHA CERLIN Queen Upholstered Platform Bed Frame. Please read this manual thoroughly before beginning assembly or use to ensure proper setup and to maximize the lifespan of your product.

2. Safety Information

4. Assembly Instructions (Setup)

Assembly typically requires two people and can be completed within one hour. Follow the steps below carefully.

Step 1: Attach Side Rails to Headboard and Footboard

Connect the upholstered side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten until all major components are aligned.

Step 2: Install Center Support Beam and Legs

Attach the center support beam to the designated points on the headboard and footboard. Then, screw in the support legs to the center beam and the corners of the bed frame. These legs provide crucial stability.

Step 3: Place Wooden Slats

Unroll the wooden slats across the bed frame. The slats feature Velcro strips on the underside for easy installation and to prevent movement and noise. Align the Velcro on the slats with the corresponding Velcro on the bed frame rails. Press firmly to secure.

Step 4: Final Tightening

Once all components are in place and aligned, fully tighten all bolts. Do not overtighten.

5. Usage Guidelines (Operating)

Mattress Compatibility

This platform bed frame is designed to support mattresses between 8 and 14 inches thick. A box spring is optional but not required due to the robust slat support system.

Adjustable Headboard

The headboard offers two adjustable height settings: 47 inches or 51 inches. This allows for customization based on your mattress thickness and aesthetic preference. The gap between the slats and the headboard ranges from 9.8 inches to 13.8 inches.

Under-Bed Storage

The bed frame provides approximately 7.9 inches of clearance underneath, offering convenient space for storage containers or a sweeping machine.

6. Care and Maintenance

Fabric Care

The bed frame is upholstered in high-quality velvet fabric. For general cleaning, gently vacuum with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the fabric.

Frame Maintenance
