Introduction
Thank you for choosing the VEIKOU 10' x 13' Hardtop Gazebo. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new outdoor structure. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.
Safety Information
- Always assemble with at least two people.
- Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not proceed with assembly if any parts are missing or damaged.
- Choose a level and stable surface for installation. Secure the gazebo to the ground using the provided expansion screws and triangular base for maximum stability.
- Do not hang objects heavier than 40 pounds from the roof hooks.
- In extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy snow, strong winds), it is recommended to remove curtains and netting and take necessary precautions to prevent damage.
- Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
Parts List
Please verify that all components are included before starting assembly. Refer to the detailed parts diagram in your packaging for specific identification. Key components include:
- Polycarbonate Double Roof Panels
- Powder-Coated Aluminum Frame Components (beams, posts, connectors)
- Double Curtains (privacy fabric and netting)
- Expansion Screws and Ground Pegs
- Assembly Hardware (bolts, nuts, washers)
Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically requires two people and can take approximately 7 hours. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your packaging. Below are general guidelines and important considerations:
1. Site Preparation
Select a flat, stable area for your gazebo. Ensure adequate clearance around the structure for assembly and future use. The gazebo can be fixed on various surfaces such as grass, deck, or concrete.

2. Frame Assembly
Begin by assembling the aluminum frame according to the numbered steps in your assembly guide. The frame features a triangular structure with triangular steel bars and aluminum beams for enhanced stability.

3. Roof Panel Installation
Carefully install the polycarbonate double roof panels. These panels are designed for impact resistance, UV protection, and excellent lighting. The ventilated roof design ensures proper air circulation.

4. Curtain and Netting Attachment
Attach the double curtains, which include both gauze netting to deter insects and fabric curtains for privacy. The curtains are equipped with double sliding rails for easy opening and closing.
Operating Guidelines
Curtain and Netting Use
The double-track system allows for flexible use of the netting and privacy curtains. Slide them open or closed as needed to control privacy, airflow, and protection from insects or sun.
Integrated Hooks
The gazebo roof is equipped with U&J-shaped hooks designed to support lighting fixtures or ceiling fans. Ensure that any attached items do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 40 pounds.

All-Weather Performance
The gazebo is designed for multi-season use, offering protection from sun, rain, and light snow. The sloping roof ensures rapid drainage during rainy days.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your gazebo.
Cleaning the Frame and Roof
Clean the aluminum frame and polycarbonate roof panels with a mild soap solution and water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes that could scratch the surfaces.
Curtain and Netting Care
The curtains and netting can be spot cleaned with a mild detergent. For deeper cleaning, follow the care instructions on the fabric tags. Ensure they are completely dry before storing or closing for extended periods to prevent mildew.
Seasonal Care
While designed for all-weather use, consider removing curtains and netting during periods of heavy snow or extreme winds to prevent damage. Regularly check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
Troubleshooting
- Gazebo feels unstable: Ensure all frame connections are securely tightened. Verify that the gazebo is anchored to the ground using the provided expansion screws and pegs.
- Water pooling on roof: The roof is designed to shed water. Check for any obstructions on the roof panels or in the drainage channels. Ensure the gazebo is assembled on a level surface.
- Curtains/Netting not sliding smoothly: Inspect the tracks for any debris or obstructions. Clean the tracks and apply a silicone-based lubricant if necessary.
- Missing or damaged parts: If you discover missing or damaged parts during assembly, please contact VEIKOU customer support immediately for assistance.
