4. Setup and Installation
The TOTMOX Car Alarm System is designed for non-destructive installation. While this manual provides general guidance, professional installation is recommended for optimal performance and to ensure proper wiring with your vehicle's electrical system. Refer to the included wiring diagram for specific connections.
4.1 Learning Code (Remote Control Pairing)
The system supports pairing up to two remote controls. If a third remote is paired, the first one will be automatically cleared.
- Method 1:
- Locate and press the learning code switch inside the main control unit.
- Press any button on the remote control.
- The siren will sound once, indicating successful learning.
- Repeat for a second remote control if desired.
- Method 2:
- Continuously touch the power/battery connection 5 times.
- After the siren sounds, press any button on the remote control.
- The siren will sound 3 times, indicating successful code learning.
4.2 Sensitivity Adjustment
The car alarm features 7 levels of sensitivity adjustment. Level 7 is the highest sensitivity, and Level 1 is the lowest. The default setting is Level 4.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Arming the System
- Press the "lock" button on the remote control.
- The siren will sound once.
- The system will enter the anti-theft armed state after 5 seconds.
If triggered by vibrations while armed, the alarm will sound for 5 seconds. If triggered again within 3 seconds, it will sound for 30 seconds with 6 broadcast tones.

5.2 Disarming the System
- Press the "unlock" button on the remote control.
- The siren will sound twice.
- The device will disarm.
Note: This item does not include a central door locking function.
5.3 Car Search Function
- Press the "mute" or "bell" button on the remote control.
- The siren will sound for 30 seconds.
- Press any button on the remote control to stop the siren.
This function is available only if your remote control has a dedicated "mute" or "bell" button.
