4. Setup
Before initial use, ensure the ice maker is placed on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Allow adequate ventilation around the unit.
4.1 Water Connection
The ice maker supports two methods for water supply: direct tap connection or using a bottled water dispenser. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.

4.1.1 Direct Tap Connection
- Connect the water inlet hose to a suitable water faucet.
- Connect the other end of the water inlet hose to the 'IN' port on the back of the ice maker, typically after the water filter.
- Ensure the water filter is properly installed in the line.
4.1.2 Bottled Water Connection
- Place a compatible water bottle (e.g., 5-gallon) onto the top dispenser area of the ice maker.
- Ensure the bottle is seated correctly and the water flows into the internal reservoir.
4.2 Drainage Connection
Connect the thickened drainage pipe to the 'OUT' port on the back of the ice maker. Route the drainage pipe to a suitable drain or collection container to prevent water overflow.
4.3 Power Connection
Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements.
