2. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to correctly install your Nillkin Upgraded Case and screen protectors on your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.

2.1 Case Installation

1. Prepare the Phone: Ensure your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is clean and free of dust or debris.

2. Install the Back Shell:
   • Unfold your phone screen.
   • Carefully remove the back shell from the phone if it's already on.
   • Tear off the remaining 3M adhesive film from the phone frame.
   • Open the tool bag and take out the wet cloth to wipe the phone frame first, then clean well with a dust cloth.
   • Take out the short 3M adhesive fixed sticker. Tear off the white release film.
   • Paste it to the inner side of the lower right border of the back shell.
   • Tear off its release film.
   • Align your phone with the back shell and carefully install it.
   • Repeatedly press the border up and down to ensure it is securely pasted and fixed.

3. Install the Front Shell:
   • Remove the front shell from the phone.
   • Tear off the remaining 3M adhesive from the phone frame.
   • Take out the long 3M adhesive fixed sticker. Tear off the white release film.
   • Paste it to the inner side of the lower right border of the front shell.
   • Tear off the release film.
   • Align your phone with the front shell and carefully install it.
   • Repeatedly press the border up and down to ensure it is securely pasted and fixed.

4. Install the S Pen Holder: Insert the S Pen holder from the upper end of the sliding groove on the case.

Note: This Z Fold 4 Case is only compatible with flexible film screen protectors. It does NOT work with tempered glass screen protectors. S Pen is not included.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Using the S Pen Holder and Kickstand

• The S Pen holder is integrated into the hinge mechanism. Slide it out to access your S Pen.
• The S Pen holder can also be extended to function as a hidden kickstand. This allows for hands-free viewing of your device in a folded or partially folded position.

3.2 Folding and Unfolding

• The case is designed to allow 180° folding, enabling seamless transition between the large and small screens of your Galaxy Z Fold 4.
• Ensure the case components are securely attached to prevent interference with the folding mechanism.

3.3 Wireless Charging

• Case not fitting securely: Ensure all 3M adhesive strips are properly applied and the case components are aligned correctly. Re-press the borders to secure the fit.
• Screen protector issues: Verify that you are using a flexible film screen protector, as tempered glass protectors are not compatible with this case. Ensure the screen is clean before applying the protector.
• S Pen holder not sliding smoothly: Check for any debris in the sliding groove. Clean the groove gently.
• Wireless charging not working: Ensure the phone is correctly positioned on the wireless charging pad. If the issue persists, remove the case to confirm it is not interfering.
