3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper assembly and installation of your PC components into the KEDIERS C710 case.

3.1 Preparing the Case

  1. Unpack the Case: Carefully remove the case from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Access the Interior: The tempered glass side panel is hinged. Gently open it to access the interior of the case. The opposite side panel can be removed by unscrewing the thumbscrews at the rear.
  3. Remove Accessories: Locate the accessory box inside the case, which contains screws and the additional PWM fan hub.

3.2 Motherboard Installation

The C710 supports E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards.

  1. Install Standoffs: Ensure the correct standoffs are installed for your motherboard size. The case typically comes with standoffs pre-installed for ATX. Adjust as needed using the provided tools.
  2. Install I/O Shield: If your motherboard requires an I/O shield, install it into the rear opening of the case before mounting the motherboard.
  3. Mount Motherboard: Carefully place your motherboard onto the standoffs, aligning the screw holes. Secure it with the appropriate screws from the accessory kit.

3.3 Storage Drive Installation

The case supports up to 2 HDDs and 3 SSDs.

  • 2.5" SSDs: Mount SSDs to the dedicated brackets located on the rear of the motherboard tray or in the drive cage.
  • 3.5" HDDs: Install HDDs into the drive cage located at the bottom front of the case.

3.4 Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation

Install your ATX power supply into the dedicated compartment at the bottom rear of the case. Secure it with screws from the outside rear of the case.

3.5 Graphics Card and Expansion Cards

Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers at the rear of the case. Insert your graphics card or other expansion cards into the motherboard's PCIe slots and secure them with screws.

3.6 Cable Management

Utilize the cable routing cutouts and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray to manage cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics. The case provides ample space for efficient cable management.

3.7 Connecting Front I/O and Fans

Connect the front panel cables (USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HD Audio, Power, Reset, LED) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. The pre-installed ARGB fans are connected to a fan hub. Connect the fan hub's PWM and ARGB cables to your motherboard or the provided additional PWM fan hub for control.

4.1 Powering On

For advanced customization, connect the ARGB hub to your motherboard's 5V 3-pin ARGB header and use compatible motherboard software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync).
  • Fan Speed Control: The fans are PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) enabled, allowing their speed to be automatically adjusted by your motherboard based on system temperature. Ensure the PWM cable from the fan hub is connected to a motherboard fan header.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your PC components.

  • Dust Filter Cleaning: The C710 features three magnetic dust filters (top, bottom, and front). Regularly remove and clean these filters with compressed air or water (ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation) to prevent dust buildup and maintain optimal airflow.
  • Interior Cleaning: Periodically open the side panel and use compressed air to remove dust from internal components, especially heatsinks and fan blades.
