1. Introduction
The ECO-WORTHY Dual-Axis Solar Tracker is designed to maximize solar energy capture by continuously orienting solar panels towards the sun. This system significantly increases power generation compared to fixed solar panel installations, offering enhanced efficiency and adaptability to various environmental conditions.
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your ECO-WORTHY solar tracker.
2. Product Features
- 270° Rotation: With a 2-axis drive and sensitive solar sensor, the solar tracker can pivot 270° to position the panels to absorb sunlight from the north, south, west, and east sides.
- Increased Power Output: Dual-axis solar trackers ensure mounted panels are exposed to sunlight throughout the day. Compared to fixed solar panels, photovoltaic energy production can be increased by at least 40% with the tracker.
- Wind Resistant: There is an air speed sensor for windy days; when it detects strong wind (data can be manually adjusted), the solar tracker automatically resets the angle to the horizon to remain stable. By drilling expansion screws into the ground, the base can easily hold firmly even in a hurricane or storm.
- Versatile Installation: Suitable for courtyards, fields, and flat roofs, requiring a ground surface of approximately 314.2 cm x 305 cm, with a main pole height of 148.5 cm.

3. Components and Accessories
Before beginning installation, ensure all components listed below are present in your package. Please note that items may arrive in multiple packages.

Figure 3.1: Overview of all included components and accessories.
Important Note:
A battery is required to power the tracker support, which is not included in the package. Ensure you have a suitable 12V battery for operation.
4. Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully for proper installation of your solar tracker. Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance.
4.1 Site Preparation
Ensure the installation site provides a stable, level surface of at least 314.2 cm x 305 cm. The main pole height is 148.5 cm. For ground installations, concrete foundations are recommended to withstand strong winds and ensure long-term stability.

4.2 Assembly Steps
- Fix the Base: Use expansion screws to securely fix the main pole base to your prepared foundation.
- Connect Rods and Actuators: Connect the A-E rods and linear actuators to the main pole as per the assembly diagram.
- Install Crossbars and Controller: Mount the controller and install the 8 crossbars that will support the solar panels.
- Install Solar Panels: Secure your solar panels to the crossbars using the provided clamps. The system is designed for 6 ECO-WORTHY 195W panels, but can adapt to various panel sizes. Refer to the table below for compatibility.

5. Operation
The ECO-WORTHY Dual-Axis Solar Tracker operates automatically to optimize solar energy collection.
5.1 How It Works

Figure 5.1: Operational flow of the solar tracker system.
- Sun Tracking Sensor: Detects sunlight from different directions and transmits angle offset signals to the controller.
- Controller: Receives sunlight data and wind speed data, calculates the optimal angle, and sends turn signals to the driver set.
- Driver Set (Linear Actuators): Adjusts the angle of the solar panels based on signals from the controller.
- Wind Speed Sensor: Detects wind speed. If strong winds are detected, it signals the controller to return the system to a default horizontal position for safety.
5.2 Automatic Adjustments
The tracker automatically adjusts its position throughout the day to follow the sun's path. It also has built-in safety features:
- Night Mode: At night, the tracker returns to a horizontal position.
- Wind Protection: If wind speed exceeds a set threshold (user-adjustable), the tracker will automatically move to a flat, horizontal position to minimize wind load and prevent damage.
- Cloudy Day: The tracker maintains its last optimal position or returns to a default position during prolonged cloudy periods.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the long-term performance and durability of your ECO-WORTHY solar tracker, regular maintenance is recommended.
- Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean the solar panels to remove dust, dirt, and debris that can reduce efficiency. Use a soft cloth and water.
- Inspect Moving Parts: Annually inspect all moving parts, including linear actuators, gears, and pivot points, for any signs of wear, corrosion, or obstruction. Lubricate as necessary.
- Check Electrical Connections: Ensure all electrical connections, including sensor cables and power lines, are secure and free from damage.
- Monitor Controller: Observe the controller's behavior. If unusual movements or errors occur, refer to the troubleshooting section.
- Foundation Integrity: Periodically check the stability of the base and foundation, especially after severe weather conditions. Tighten any loose expansion screws.
Important:
Any modifications to the product not specified in this manual may void the warranty and affect product performance. Do not attempt unauthorized repairs or alterations.
