5. Setup

Follow these steps to properly attach the board cutter to your electric drill.

  1. Ensure Drill is Safe: Before attachment, ensure your electric drill is turned off, unplugged from the power source, or has its battery pack removed.
  2. Open Drill Chuck: Open the chuck of your electric drill to accommodate the attachment's shank.
  3. Insert Shank: Insert the 1/4" hexagonal shank of the VEVOR Board Cutter Drill Attachment into the drill chuck.
  4. Secure Chuck: Tighten the drill chuck securely around the attachment's shank. Ensure it is firmly seated and cannot wobble.
  5. Attach Support Bracket (if applicable): If your drill setup includes a support bracket for the attachment, secure it according to the bracket's instructions to enhance stability and reduce vibration during operation.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Workpiece: Mark your desired cutting line clearly on the material. Secure the workpiece to a stable surface to prevent movement during cutting.
  2. Start Drill: Before engaging the material, start your electric drill and allow it to reach the recommended operating speed (1500-3000 RPM).
  3. Engage Material: Gently bring the cutting head into contact with the edge of the material along your marked line.
  4. Guide the Cut: Guide the attachment smoothly and steadily along the cutting line. Do not apply excessive force; allow the blades to do the work.
  5. For Straight Cuts: For best results and straight lines, consider using a straight edge or guide clamped to the workpiece.
  6. For Curved Cuts: Utilize the 360-degree pivoting head for cutting large curves, circles, or irregular shapes. Adjust the head to the desired angle for optimal maneuverability.
  7. Cutting Direction: For materials like Hardie Board siding, cutting from the back side can result in cleaner, smoother edges. Experiment with scrap material to determine the best approach for your specific material.
  8. Complete the Cut: Continue guiding the tool until the cut is complete. Once finished, lift the attachment away from the material before turning off the drill.

7. Maintenance
