3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Printer

The printer is equipped with a 1000mAh lithium battery. Before first use, ensure the printer is fully charged.

  1. Connect the provided USB cable to the charging port on the printer.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the printer's LED indicator guide for specific light patterns (usually red for charging, off or green for fully charged).

3.2 Installing Thermal Paper

This printer uses 57 x 30mm thermal paper rolls.

  1. Gently open the printer's cover.
  2. Insert the thermal paper roll into the compartment, ensuring the printing side of the paper faces the print head. The paper should feed smoothly from the bottom of the roll.
  3. Pull a small amount of paper out beyond the print head.
  4. Close the printer cover firmly until it clicks into place.

3.3 Installing the iPrint App

The printer operates via the 'iPrint' application, compatible with Android and iOS smartphones.

  1. Search for 'iPrint' in your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
  2. Download and install the application.
  3. Grant necessary permissions when prompted by the app, such as Bluetooth access.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button again for a few seconds until the indicator light turns off.

4.2 Bluetooth Connection

The printer uses Bluetooth direct connection technology.

  1. Ensure your printer is powered on and within range of your smartphone.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Print Head

To ensure optimal print quality, periodically clean the print head.

  1. Ensure the printer is powered off and disconnected from any power source.
  2. Open the printer cover.
  3. Gently wipe the print head with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Allow it to dry completely before closing the cover and powering on the printer.

5.2 Paper Handling and Storage

  • Use only high-quality thermal paper designed for mini thermal printers (57 x 30mm).
  • Store thermal paper in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent premature fading.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Printer Not Powering On
