2. Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. Adhere to all safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the hot tub.
- Always supervise children in and around the hot tub.
- Do not operate the hot tub if the cover is not securely fastened when not in use.
- Maintain proper water chemistry to prevent skin irritation and equipment damage.
- Avoid using electrical appliances near the hot tub.
- Consult a physician before use if you have health conditions, are pregnant, or are on medication.
- Do not exceed the recommended maximum water temperature of 40°C (104°F).
- Ensure the hot tub is placed on a level, stable surface capable of supporting its full weight when filled.
3. Setup
The Grand Rapids hot tub is designed for easy 'Plug and Play' setup.
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: hot tub liner, control unit, cover, filter, and aromatherapy set.
- Placement: Choose a flat, stable, and clean surface for the hot tub. Ensure there is adequate space around the hot tub for maintenance and access.
- Inflation: Use the provided inflation hose and the control unit's air blower function to inflate the hot tub. Ensure it is firm but not over-inflated.
- Connecting the Control Unit: Attach the control unit to the hot tub's inlet and outlet ports. Ensure connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Filling: Fill the hot tub with fresh water to the recommended fill line.
- Power Connection: Plug the control unit into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the product's electrical requirements.

4. Operation
Familiarize yourself with the control panel for optimal use.

- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the control panel to turn the hot tub on or off.
- Temperature Control: Use the up/down arrows to set your desired water temperature. The efficient heating system will work to reach and maintain this temperature.
- Jet/Massage Function: Activate the massage jets using the dedicated button. The Grand Rapids offers 3 massage speeds for varied intensity.
- Aromatherapy System: Insert the aromatherapy cartridge into its designated slot. Activate the aromatherapy function for a soothing fragrance.
- LED Lights: The hot tub includes integrated LED lights to illuminate the water. Use the remote control to adjust colors and modes.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your hot tub.
- Filter Cleaning/Replacement: The Microban anti-bacterial filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., weekly) and replaced every 1-3 months depending on usage. Refer to the control unit image for filter location.
- Water Treatment: Maintain proper water chemistry using recommended hot tub chemicals. Test water regularly for pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer levels.
- Cover Care: Clean the hot tub cover periodically with a mild soap and water solution. Ensure the cover is securely fastened when the hot tub is not in use to retain heat and prevent debris entry.
- Draining and Cleaning: Drain and clean the hot tub every 3-6 months, or more frequently with heavy use. Follow the instructions for proper draining and cleaning of the interior surface.
