  • UV Light Source: Emits specific wavelengths (365-400nm) to attract various flying insects.
  • Powerful Fan: Creates a strong airflow to draw insects into the trap.
  • Sticky Glue Board: Located at the bottom, it captures insects drawn in by the fan.
  • Power Button: To turn the device on/off.
  • Light Button: To change light modes (if applicable).
  • Removable Tray: For easy replacement of sticky glue boards.

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Place Sticky Board: Ensure a sticky glue board is correctly placed in the bottom tray. If not, refer to the "Maintenance" section for instructions on how to install one.
  3. Position the Trap: Place the insect trap on a stable, flat surface in an area where flying insects are prevalent, such as a kitchen, living room, or bedroom. For best results, place it away from strong light sources and drafts.
  4. Connect Power: Connect the USB power cable to the device and then to the power adapter. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The device can also be powered by a power bank or PC USB port for portability.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the Power Button (usually indicated by a power symbol) on the top of the device. The UV light will illuminate, and the fan will start operating.

  2. Light Modes (if applicable): If your model features multiple light wavelengths, press the Light Button to cycle through the available modes. Some models may have a smartband change mode with 7 kinds of wavelengths that automatically switch every 15 minutes.
  3. Continuous Operation: For optimal results, it is recommended to keep the device running continuously, especially during periods of high insect activity.
  4. Power Off: To turn off the device, press the Power Button again.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your insect trap.

  1. Replacing Sticky Glue Boards:
    • Ensure the device is unplugged before proceeding.
    • Press the button on the side of the device to release and open the bottom tray.
    • Carefully remove the used sticky glue board. Dispose of it properly.
    • Peel off the protective layer from a new sticky glue board.
    • Place the new sticky glue board into the tray, ensuring it sits flat.
    • Close the bottom tray securely until it clicks into place.

  2. Cleaning the Device:
    • Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth.
    • Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
    • Periodically check the fan area for any debris and gently clean if necessary (ensure device is unplugged).

Troubleshooting
