1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the proper use and maintenance of your new replacement infrared (IR) remote control. This remote is designed to be compatible with various EKO 4K Ultra HD UHD WEBOS Smart HDTV TV models, including K55USW, K70USW, K58USW, K85USW, K75USW, K32HSW, K40USW, K85USWB, and K65USW.

This remote control operates using infrared technology and does not require any complex programming. Simply insert the batteries, and it is ready for use with compatible EKO TV models.

2. Setup

Before using the remote control, you must install the batteries. This remote requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included).

1. Open the Battery Compartment: Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control. Gently slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open.
2. Insert Batteries: Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
3. Close the Battery Compartment: Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready to operate your compatible EKO TV. No pairing or programming is typically required for standard IR replacement remotes.

3. Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your EKO TV. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

• Power Button (●): Press to turn the TV on or off.
• Number Buttons (0-9): Use to directly enter channel numbers.
• Volume Up/Down (VOL +/-): Adjusts the sound volume.
• Channel Up/Down (CH PAGE +/-): Changes the TV channel.
• Navigation Buttons (▲ ▼ ◀ ►): Used to navigate menus and select options.
• OK/Enter Button: Confirms selections in menus.
• Back Button: Returns to the previous screen or menu.
• Home Button (⌂): Accesses the TV's main smart hub or home screen.
• Netflix / Prime Video Buttons: Direct access buttons for these streaming services.
• Input/Source Button: Changes the input source (HDMI, AV, etc.).
• Mute Button: Mutes or unmutes the TV sound.

Note: The functionality of certain buttons may vary slightly depending on your specific EKO TV model and its firmware version. Refer to your TV's original manual for detailed button functions.

4. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life of your remote control.

• Cleaning: Wipe the remote with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones.
• Storage: If the remote will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion.
• Environment: Keep the remote away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and moisture. Avoid dropping the remote or exposing it to strong impacts.
