2. Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.

4. Product Overview

The DENBIG Portable Air Conditioner features a compact design with integrated controls and mobility features.

5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up your portable air conditioner for optimal performance.

5.1 Window Kit Installation

  1. Assemble Window Slider Kit: Connect 2 or 3 panels of the window slider kit according to your window's dimensions. Secure them using the provided wing nuts and screws. The kit is adjustable for windows from 25.5" to 76".
  2. Attach Hose Inlet/Outlet: Secure the hose inlet and outlet to the window slider kit using screws. Ensure the insect guard is in place.
  3. Install Exhaust Hose: Stretch the exhaust hose to its full length (up to 6 feet). Twist the hose outlet into the hose, then connect the hose inlet to the other end of the hose.
  4. Mount to Window: Place the assembled window slider kit into your window opening. Close the window securely against the kit to seal it.
  5. Connect to Unit: Attach the exhaust hose assembly to the exhaust air outlet on the back of the portable air conditioner unit. Ensure a secure fit to prevent air leakage.

5.2 Placement

Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure the exhaust hose can reach the window kit without kinks or sharp bends, which can reduce efficiency.

6. Operating Instructions

Your DENBIG Portable Air Conditioner offers three primary operating modes: Cool, Dehumidify (Dry), and Fan.

6.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The unit can be operated using the touch control panel on top or the included remote control.

  • Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
  • Mode Button: Cycles through Cool, Dry, and Fan modes.
  • Temperature Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts the desired temperature in Cool mode (61°F-88°F).
  • Fan Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (High/Low) in Cool and Fan modes.
  • Timer Button: Sets the 24-hour ON/OFF timer.
  • Sleep Mode Button: Activates sleep mode for quiet operation and energy saving.

6.2 Operating Modes

  • Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling for rooms up to 350 sq.ft. Set your desired temperature using the Up/Down arrows.
  • Dry Mode (Dehumidifier): Removes excess moisture from the air. Connect the drain hose to the drainage port for continuous drainage in this mode.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Choose between High and Low fan speeds.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your air conditioner.

7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Locate the air filter grilles on the back of the unit.
  3. Gently pull out the air filters.
  4. Wash the filters under running water (warm, soapy water if heavily soiled).
  5. Allow the filters to air dry completely before reinserting them.

7.2 Drainage

In Dry mode, or if the internal water tank becomes full in Cool mode, the unit will stop operating and display a 'FL' (Full) error. You will need to drain the accumulated water.

  • Turn off and unplug the unit.
  • Place a shallow pan or bucket under the drainage port at the bottom rear of the unit.
  • Remove the rubber stopper from the drainage port.
  • Allow all water to drain completely.
  • Replace the rubber stopper firmly.

For continuous drainage in Dry mode, connect the provided drain hose to the drainage port and direct it to a floor drain or suitable container.

8. Troubleshooting

Before contacting customer support, try these common solutions for minor issues:
