Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your Livex Lighting Copenhagen Single ADA Sconce. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before starting.
- Prepare the Installation Area: Turn off power at the main electrical panel. Remove the existing fixture if applicable. Ensure the junction box is securely mounted to the wall.
- Attach Mounting Crossbar: Secure the mounting crossbar to the junction box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the crossbar is level and firmly attached.
- Make Electrical Connections: Carefully connect the fixture's wires to the house electrical wires.
- Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box (usually bare copper or green).
- Mount the Fixture: Align the fixture's backplate with the mounting screws on the crossbar. Secure the fixture to the crossbar using the decorative nuts or screws provided. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall.
- Install the Bulb: Insert one (1) appropriate bulb (not included) into the fixture's socket. Do not exceed the maximum wattage of 60 watts.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. Test the fixture to ensure it functions correctly.

Operating Instructions

- Bulb Replacement: Disconnect power before replacing the bulb. Allow the bulb to cool completely before touching. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new one of the correct type and wattage (max 60W).
