3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Keep packaging materials for future storage or transport.
3.2 Battery Installation
This model is supplied without a battery or charger. Ensure you use a compatible WORX PowerShare 20V battery. To install, align the battery pack with the battery port on the tool and slide it in until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

3.3 Chain and Guide Bar Installation
The WG325E.9 features a tool-free chain tensioning and replacement system. Follow these steps:
- Ensure the battery is removed.
- Locate the chain tensioning knob/button on the side of the chainsaw.
- Press the button and rotate to loosen the guide bar cover.
- Carefully place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges are facing the correct direction.
- Fit the chain and guide bar assembly onto the chainsaw's sprocket.
- Replace the guide bar cover and tighten the tensioning knob/button until the chain is snug but can still be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand.

3.4 Filling Chain Oil (Automatic Lubrication System)
The chainsaw features an intelligent automatic lubrication system. Before first use and regularly during operation, ensure the oil reservoir is filled with appropriate chain lubricant.
- Ensure the battery is removed.
- Locate the oil reservoir cap, typically on the top or side of the tool.
- Unscrew the cap and fill the reservoir with high-quality chain lubricant. Do not overfill.
- Securely replace the cap.
