4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your portable air conditioner:

  1. Connect Power: Connect the power adaptor to the unit and then plug the power cord into a standard 120V household outlet or a compatible portable power station. Ensure the power source can support the unit's wattage (264 watts).

  2. Attach Cold Air Outlet Hose: Securely attach the cold air outlet hose to the designated port on the front of the unit. This hose directs cooled air into your desired space.

  4. Positioning: Place the unit on a stable, level surface. For optimal cooling, ensure the cold air outlet hose is directed towards the area requiring cooling, and the exhaust hoses are vented outdoors.

  5. Drain Hose (Optional): For continuous drainage of condensation, connect the drain hose to the drainage port. Position the other end of the hose into a suitable container or drain. If not using continuous drainage, the internal reservoir will collect condensation and require manual emptying.

  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without active cooling. Select from Low, Medium, or High fan speeds to improve air circulation.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your air conditioner.

  • Cleaning Air Filters: Periodically check and clean the air filters to maintain optimal airflow and cooling efficiency. Refer to the unit's design for filter access. Gently remove dust and debris using a vacuum cleaner or soft brush.
  • Draining Condensation: If the drain hose is not used for continuous drainage, the internal water tank will fill. When full, the unit may stop operating and indicate a full tank. Carefully move the unit to a suitable drainage area and remove the drain plug to empty the water.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Before long-term storage, ensure the unit is completely dry, especially the internal water tank. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
