1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Brafab Shoe Storage Cabinet. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new furniture. Please read these instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain them for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• Always assemble the product on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
• Ensure all screws and fasteners are securely tightened before use.
• Do not overload shelves. Refer to the specifications for weight limits.
• To prevent tipping, always use the provided anti-tipping device to secure the cabinet to a wall. This is especially important in households with children or pets.
• Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children.

3. Package Contents

Before assembly, verify that all components listed below are present and undamaged. Refer to the assembly video for visual identification of parts.

4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.

1. Prepare Panels: Lay out all wooden panels (numbered 1-7) and hardware (A, E, F) as shown in Step 1 of the video. Insert cam locks and dowels into the designated holes on panels 1, 2, and 3.
2. Assemble Base Structure: Attach panels 2 and 3 to panel 1 using screws and cam locks (Step 2). Ensure a snug fit.
3. Add Middle Shelf: Secure panel 4 (middle shelf) between panels 2 and 3 using hardware B and D (Step 3).
4. Attach Top Panel: Place panel 5 on top of the assembled structure and secure it with hardware C and D (Step 4).
5. Assemble Metal Base: Connect the metal leg components (10 and 11) using screws (G) to form the base frame (Step 5).
6. Attach Metal Base: Secure the assembled metal base to the bottom of the wooden cabinet structure using screws (G) (Step 6).
7. Install Back Panel: Attach the back panel (7) to the rear of the cabinet using screws (F) (Step 8).
8. Insert Shelf Pins: Place the shelf pins (H, I) into the desired height adjustment holes on the side panels (Step 9).
9. Place Adjustable Shelves: Insert the adjustable shelves (6) onto the shelf pins (Step 10). You can adjust their height based on your shoe sizes.
10. Assemble Doors: Attach the handles (N) and hinges (J, K, M) to the rattan doors (9 and 8) (Step 11).
11. Attach Doors: Mount the assembled doors to the cabinet using the hinges (Step 12). Ensure they open and close smoothly.
12. Install Anti-Tipping Device: Secure the anti-tipping device to the top rear of the cabinet and to a wall stud using appropriate hardware.

5. Operating Instructions

• Adjustable Shelves: The middle partition of the shoe cabinet is removable and features three holes for height adjustment. This allows you to customize the storage space to accommodate various shoe types, including short boots, basketball shoes, and mid-calf boots. Simply remove the shelf pins, reposition the shelf to the desired height, and reinsert the pins.
• Rattan Doors: The natural woven rattan doors provide ventilation and conceal your shoes. Open and close them gently using the smooth handles.
• Open Storage Area: The bottom area of the cabinet is designed for open storage, ideal for frequently used shoes like slippers, or for allowing a floor sweeper to clean underneath.
• Top Platform: The large top platform can be used to display decorative items, photo frames, or to hold small personal items like wallets and keys.

• Cabinet feels unstable: Ensure the anti-tipping device is securely installed to the wall. Check that all frame connections are tight.
• Rattan appearance: Natural rattan may have slight variations, black spots, ruptures, or glitches due to its fiber characteristics and splicing during weaving. These are not quality problems.
