1. Safety Information
Please read this manual carefully before operating your Silkight G23-138D Digital Fireproof Gun Safe. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.
- Always store emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe and out of reach of children. Do not store emergency keys inside the safe.
- Ensure the safe is securely mounted to a wall or floor to prevent unauthorized removal or tipping.
- This safe is designed for security and organization. While it offers fireproof features, it is not intended to withstand extreme fire or water damage for extended periods.
- Keep the safe locked at all times when not in use, especially in households with children.
- Do not store flammable materials or liquids inside the safe.
2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Your Silkight G23-138D gun safe comes fully assembled. Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. The package includes: 1 x Rifle gun safe, 2 x Emergency keys, 5 x Expansion screws, 1 x Emergency battery box, 1 x User manual.
2.2 Install Handle Spokes
Locate the handle spokes in the accessory bag and install them onto the knob on the safe door.

2.3 First Opening / Emergency Opening
For the first opening or in case of emergency (forgotten code, weak battery), use the emergency key. Insert the emergency key into the keyhole, turn it, and then turn the handle to open the safe.
2.4 Battery Installation
The safe requires 4*AA batteries (not included) for the digital keypad. Open the safe door, locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door, and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
2.5 Mounting the Safe
The safe has 5 pre-drilled holes (3 on the back, 2 on the bottom) for secure mounting. Use the provided 5 expansion bolts to fix the safe to a wall or floor. This enhances security and prevents unauthorized removal.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Setting User Code
To set your personal user code: Press #00, then press the setting button (located inside the safe door, usually a small red button). Enter your new code twice, confirming each entry with #.

3.2 Unlocking Methods
- Code + Handle: Enter your user code on the touchscreen pad, then turn the handle to open.
- Emergency Key + Handle: For initial opening or emergencies, use the emergency key as described in Setup.
- Emergency Battery Box + Code + Handle: If batteries are dead and emergency keys are lost, connect the emergency battery box to the port on the keypad, enter your code, then turn the handle.

3.3 Mute Function
To turn on the mute function (silent mode), press * then press 1. To turn off the mute function, press * then press 1 again.
3.4 Dual Alarm System
The safe features a dual alarm system for enhanced security:
- Incorrect Password Alarm: Activates after 3 consecutive incorrect password entries.
- Vibration Alarm: Activates if the safe experiences violent vibrations or is shaken.
To activate the vibration alarm mode, press * then press 9. To stop the alarm, enter the correct password.

3.5 Interior Features
The safe's interior is designed for flexible and protective storage:
- Removable Shelf: A top shelf can be removed to accommodate longer firearms up to 53.5 inches.
- Adjustable Gun Slots: 3 adjustable gun slots allow for customization to fit different rifle heights.
- Pistol Pouches: Soft velvet interior and pistol pouches protect firearms and valuables from scratching.
- Built-in LED Light: Provides illumination inside the safe for visibility in dark environments.

4. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace the 4*AA batteries regularly (e.g., annually) or when the low battery indicator appears to ensure continuous operation of the digital keypad.
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Key Maintenance: Keep emergency keys clean and dry. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures or corrosive substances.
5. Troubleshooting
- Keypad Not Responding: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient power. Use the emergency battery box if needed.
- Forgotten Code: Use the emergency key to open the safe. Once open, you can reset the user code following the instructions in Section 3.1.
- Alarm Triggered: Enter the correct user code to silence the alarm. If the alarm triggers frequently without cause, ensure the safe is securely mounted and not subject to accidental vibrations.
