1. Introduction
The VEVOR 15x15 Heat Press Machine is designed for efficient and precise heat transfer applications on various materials. This digital industrial sublimation printer is suitable for both heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and sublimation projects, offering fast heating and high-pressure capabilities. This manual provides essential information for safe and effective operation.
Key Features:
- 15 x 15 Heat Press: Large heating pad (38 x 38 cm) with sponge, designed for a service life of 20,000 hours. Ensures quicker heating and better transfer effects. Soft heating liner accommodates various materials and reduces odors.
- Digital Control Board: Precise control panel for accurate temperature and time regulation. Features an automatic alarm upon completion. Temperature Range: 0 - 482 ℉ / 0 - 250 ℃; Time Control: 0 - 999 seconds; Power: 1200 W; Voltage: 110 V.
- Teflon Insulation Coating: Revolutionary Teflon material reduces surface temperature for user comfort and minimizes scratches. Lessens adhesion risk between clothes and platen for excellent transfer results.
- Adjustable Pressure Knob: Full-range knob for increasing or decreasing pressure based on material thickness. Outfitted with a non-slip rubber grip for comfortable use.
- Easy to Use: Ideal for creating personalized gifts on T-shirts, pillows, bags, phone shells, and quickly transferring colorful pictures and characters onto textiles like cotton, cloth, HTV, ceramics, glasses, fabrics, flax, and nylon.
2. Important Safety Instructions
- Always operate the heat press on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
- Keep hands and body clear of the heating plate during operation to prevent burns. The Teflon coating reduces surface temperature but the plate remains hot.
- Ensure proper ventilation in the work area to dissipate any odors or fumes.
- Do not leave the machine unattended while it is powered on or operating.
- Unplug the heat press from the power outlet when not in use or before cleaning/maintenance.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Use heat-resistant gloves when handling hot materials or adjusting the machine after pressing.
- Avoid overloading electrical circuits. The machine operates at 1200W, 110V.

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heat press from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the machine on a sturdy, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for safe operation and ventilation.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 110V electrical outlet.
- Initial Inspection: Check all components for any signs of damage. Ensure the heating plate and platen are clean and free of debris.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Setting Temperature and Time:
- Power On: Flip the red power switch located on the side of the control box to the "ON" position.
- Set Temperature: Use the "TEMP" button and the up/down arrows on the digital control board to set the desired temperature (0 - 482 ℉ / 0 - 250 ℃). The machine will begin heating automatically.
- Set Time: Use the "TIME" button and the up/down arrows to set the desired pressing duration (0 - 999 seconds).
- Pre-heating: Allow the machine to reach the set temperature. The display will show the current temperature rising until it matches the set value.

5.2. Adjusting Pressure:
The pressure is adjusted using the full-range knob located on top of the heating plate assembly. Turn the knob clockwise to increase pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease pressure. Adjust based on the thickness of your material and transfer type. Test with scrap material to find the optimal pressure.
5.3. Heat Transfer Process:
- Prepare Material: Place your garment or material onto the silicone pad on the lower platen. Smooth out any wrinkles. For best results, pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
- Position Transfer: Carefully place your heat transfer vinyl (HTV) or sublimation paper onto the garment in the desired position.
- Cover with Teflon Sheet: Place a Teflon sheet over your transfer and garment. This protects the heating plate and prevents ink transfer.
- Press: Lower the heating plate handle until it locks into place. The timer will automatically start counting down.
- Alarm: Once the set time expires, an alarm will sound. Lift the handle to release the pressure.
- Remove Transfer: Carefully remove the Teflon sheet. Depending on your transfer type (hot peel, warm peel, cold peel), wait for the material to cool sufficiently before peeling off the transfer backing.

5.4. Recommended Parameters:

- Storage: Store the heat press in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Uneven transfer/fading | Incorrect pressure, temperature, or time; moisture in garment. | Adjust pressure knob; verify temperature/time settings; pre-press garment to remove moisture. |
| Machine not heating | Power issue, faulty heating element. | Check power connection and outlet; contact customer support if issue persists. |
| Transfers peeling/not adhering | Insufficient heat or pressure; incorrect peel method (hot/cold). | Increase temperature/pressure slightly; ensure correct peel method for your material. |
| Burning smell during operation | Excessive temperature; material burning; new machine odor. | Reduce temperature; ensure proper material compatibility; new machine odor is normal initially. |
