2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic precautions:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• Do not use this heater outdoors.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

Integrated Safety Features:

• Tip-Over Protection: The heater is equipped with a safety switch that automatically shuts off the unit if it is accidentally tipped over.
• Overheat Protection: An internal sensor monitors the heater's temperature. If the unit overheats, it will automatically shut down to prevent damage or fire.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or return if necessary.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions to the air intake or outlet grilles. Maintain a minimum distance of 3 feet (0.9 m) from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials.
3. Power Connection: Plug the 2-prong power cord directly into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. Avoid using extension cords or power strips.
4. Initial Power-On: Locate the main power switch at the rear base of the unit and switch it to the 'ON' position. The heater is now ready for operation via the control panel or remote control.

5. Operation

Your CAYNEL heater can be operated using the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control. It also supports smart app control for enhanced functionality.

Control Panel & Remote Functions:

• Power Button: Turns the heater ON/OFF.
• Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes: Fan Only, Low Heat (750W), High Heat (1500W), and ECO Mode.
• Temperature Adjustment (+/-): Increases or decreases the desired temperature setting (60°F to 95°F).
• Oscillation Button: Activates or deactivates the 80-degree oscillation function.
• Timer Button: Sets the auto-off timer (up to 12 hours).
• Safety Lock: Activates/deactivates the control panel lock (via remote or app).
• Night Light Brightness: Adjusts the brightness of the ambient light ring (via app or by holding down a specific button on the unit).

Operating Modes:

• Fan Only: Circulates air without heat.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust from the air intake and outlet grilles.

7. Troubleshooting

• Heater Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 120V outlet.
  • Check if the main power switch at the rear base is in the 'ON' position.
  • Verify the heater is on a flat, stable surface. The tip-over switch may have activated.
  • Check your home's circuit breaker.
• Heater Not Emitting Heat:
  • Ensure a heat mode (Low or High) is selected, not just Fan Only.
  • Increase the desired temperature setting using the '+' button or app. The set temperature should be higher than the current room temperature.
  • The overheat protection may have activated. Unplug the heater, let it cool for 30 minutes, then plug it back in.
• Unusual Odor During First Use:
  • It is normal for a new heater to emit a slight, harmless odor when first used. This is due to the burning off of manufacturing oils and will dissipate quickly.
• Heater Shuts Off Unexpectedly:
  • The tip-over protection or overheat protection may have been triggered. Refer to the respective safety features section.
  • The 12-hour auto-off timer may have expired.
