Setup

1. Handlebar Mount Installation

1. Select the appropriate rubber shims based on your handlebar diameter. These shims ensure a snug fit and prevent slippage.
2. Place the selected rubber shims around your handlebar at the desired mounting location.
3. Position the handlebar mounting bracket over the shims and secure it firmly using the provided screws or clamping mechanism. Ensure the mount is stable and does not rotate freely.
4. Slide the JBL Wind 3 speaker onto the mounting bracket until it clicks securely into place. The speaker can be easily docked and undocked from the bracket.

2. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the JBL Wind 3 speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of playback.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the top or side) for a few seconds to turn the speaker on or off. The LED display will illuminate upon power-on.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

1. When powered on, the speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the LED display).
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "JBL Wind 3" from the list to connect. Once paired, the Bluetooth icon on the speaker's display will become solid.

3. FM Radio Operation

1. Press the "Mode" button (often indicated by an 'M' or similar icon) on the speaker to switch to FM Radio mode. The LED display will show the current frequency.
2. Manual Tuning: Use the volume up (+) or volume down (-) buttons with a short press to adjust the frequency incrementally.
3. Automatic Scan: Press and hold the volume up (+) or volume down (-) buttons to automatically scan for the next available strong FM station. The speaker will stop on the next clear signal.

4. Hands-free Phone Calls

When connected via Bluetooth, incoming calls will be routed through the speaker. Press the Play/Pause button to answer or end a call. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to reject an incoming call.

5. Multiple Playback Sources

• Bluetooth: Wireless streaming from your paired device.
• FM Radio: Listen to local FM broadcasts.
• TF/Micro SD Card: Insert a TF/Micro SD card into the designated slot to play audio files directly from the card. The speaker supports WAV and MP3 formats with a maximum bit depth of 16 bits.
• AUX In: Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input port.

Use the "Mode" button to cycle through the available playback sources.

6. EQ Modes

The JBL Wind 3 features two distinct EQ modes: 'Sport' and 'Bass'. These modes adjust the audio profile to suit different listening environments. Refer to the speaker's controls for switching between these modes.
