4. Setup Instructions

  1. Power Connection: Connect the included external power adapter to the mixer's power input and then to a suitable power outlet.
  2. Main Output Connection: Connect the MAIN OUT (L/R) XLR ports to your amplifier or powered speakers using appropriate cables.
  3. Microphone/Instrument Connection:
    • For microphones, connect them to the MIC/LINE inputs (CH 1-2). If using a condenser microphone requiring phantom power, ensure the +48V switch is engaged.
    • For line-level instruments (e.g., keyboards, guitars with preamps), connect them to the MIC/LINE inputs or CH 3-4/5-6/7-8/9-10 inputs as needed.
  4. Headphone Monitoring: Connect your headphones to the PHONES jack for real-time audio monitoring.
  5. USB Drive/Computer Connection:
    • To play audio from a USB drive, insert the drive into the USB port.
    • To connect to a computer for recording or playback, use a USB cable to connect the mixer's USB port to your computer. The mixer should display "PC" when connected successfully. Note: Some users have reported issues with PC recognition. Ensure you are using a standard USB A-to-B cable (printer cable type) and that your computer's USB drivers are up to date. If connecting to a computer, the mixer may draw power from the USB connection, and the external power adapter might not be needed. Avoid using both simultaneously unless specified by the manufacturer.
  6. Bluetooth Pairing:
    • Press the "Pair" button in the BT Player section.
    • On your device (smartphone, tablet), search for Bluetooth devices and select "WEYMIC A60" (or similar name).
